There's at least two imperial, or part imperial, going by what's left of Cyrodiil. There's part of Colovia missing with Skingrad, and a chunk of Nibenay between Leyawiin and Cheydinhall, which have Bravil at the edge. They could possibly add and show Mir Corrup for the first time there too(it has only been mentioned in lore before), since it's a city that exist somewhere away from water and there's a lot of nothing on the east side of the Nibenay.
So, let’s see…
We had Greymoor - Which highlighted Nords
Blackwood - Which highlighted imperials and Argonians
High Isle - Which highlighted Bretons
Necrom - Which highlighted Dark Elves
That’s 3 out the last 4, if I didn’t forget one.
Can we get something for a different faction before going back to EP? Wood Elves, Redguard, and Orcs are due for some love really.
Can't really do much with Wood Elves, given Valenwood is complete, unless they go Off-Nirn.
Orcs have a pocket between Wrothgar and Skyrim that could get some attention.
Redguard seems to be the biggest one that is missing some love.

You only really have the land of Redguards, Nords, Dunmer, Argonian, and a sliver of Imperial and Khajiit left. Now ZOS can get creative, High Isle let them make such a small island look chapter size so that was good. A lot of islands around Tamriel so "done" races could get more and we also got a lot of other Planes of Existence left too.
Basically, with the land we got left we will go to Redguards area maybe 3 times, Nord 3 more times, Dunmer 2 or 3 more times, Argonian probably has the most with like 4 times, Imperial and Khajiit one more time. Unless they start to do giant chapter zones. Also depends on who owns Solstheim right now.

It has been an endless disappointment for me, ZOS haven't done any attempts to portray and interpret Cyrodiil in a better and more unique lore way. Because despite TES IV being liked, a lot of people also agree how horribly it did Cyrodiil and imperials lore-wise. The Nibenay is even supposed to be the most populated area of Cyrodiil with a lot of things going on, yet it's so much of nothing.Supreme_Atromancer wrote: »NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »OtarTheMad wrote: »Imperial one more time.

I agree.
One criticism of TESIV's world building was how empty that Nibenay was.
I think it would be an excellent opportunity for ZOS to "interpret" a more interesting Nibenay, by creating some more Nibenese cities. Who knows, maybe Mir Corrup, with the alien name gets realised as a major Nibenese cultural centre.
I'd love to see some will-o'-the-wisps. Not the small wisps that are with wispmother, but larger, scarier and more dangerous ones. Other more fantasy creatures would be nice too. But I think that every time. A lot of creatures and animals feel rather lazy in ESO, with many having the exact same animals.Supreme_Atromancer wrote: »I also remember the east being described as particularly dangerous relative to Colovia (according to NPCs and books discovered during TESIV). It would be cool to delve into that. The ESO map looks like it could incorporate the Valus mountains in the zone- which I guess is filled with goblin caverns and canopy passages into Morrowind and The East.
To me Blackwood was a huge disappointment. I think they portrayed the area and the Nibenese terribly. Leyawiin and the Niben River wasn't fixed since its issues in TES IV, and they even managed to contradict lore in other games and ESO with it.Supreme_Atromancer wrote: »Blackwood was recent, though. I think it was intended as a bit of a deep dive into the Nibenese, to some degree, though opinions are mixed in the community on the degree to which they pulled that off. I personally got a sense of the Nibenese decadence. I thought that was well done.
I still think it would be awesome to see.

Around ESO‘s timeline Solstheim still belongs to the Nord (and the remnants of the Snow Elves). The island was gifted to the Dunmer thousands of years later.

There's a gate in northern Reaper's March that would take us to a zone where Skingrad would be.
There's a gate in northern Hew's Bane which would take us to more of Hammerfell.
I'm sure there are others, as well as ones which by now have been connected to newer zones, but it shows how ZOS has been planning for things since the beginning, hence as long as the game continues to exist we have hope that we'll eventually see some of those areas we keep asking for.

I'd really like some Imperial content. Imperials are really one of the most neglected races in Tamriel at this point. Orcs had an entire chapter in the Wrothgar expansion, it was a great expansion.
I don't mind seeing something new for the Bosmers and Yokudans.
the Altmers have Summerset
the Bretons have High Isle
the Dunmers have 2 (Morrowind and Necrom)
the Imperials have Blackwood
the Khajiits have Elsweyr
the Nedes have Western Skyrim
the Orcs have Orsinium
the Saxhleels have 2 (Murkmire and Blackwood)
Winterhold's been on the docket since 2014 or so as I recall. It was supposedly the 'next thing' after Craglorn and Murkmire (The latter of which was obviously delayed after the adventure zone concept proved a disaster). We haven't heard anything about it since.
