I don't think the auto-censor would catch it if it infringed on copyright. It didn't protest when I made a Khajiit character (since removed) called Tony the Tiger after the Kellogg's mascot. I'm guessing @Elsonso is correct and it censored the 'ket' which is short for ketamine.
Maybe its the "iger"? Because of the N-Word.
Something like "ket" would only be reportable and bannable depending on the context, I don't know that it's censored ingame.
Parallel to the context you are referring to, a name like "Mike Tapioca" would be a name that's not allowed. This would be silly/frivolous.

Apparently "Ike! Tiger Mask" means "Go! Tiger Mask," so it isn't a proper name, but "Ike! Tiger" might still be disallowed due to its similarity to the presumably copyrighted title of the show's theme song.
How do you know its being censored and someone else just hasn't already used the name?
To the OP, open a ticket with support and ask them, the best you can hope for is Kevin or Gina to arbitrarily decide to post in this topic.SeaGtGruff wrote: »Could the name be copyrighted or trademarked (anime reference)?

In terms of reportable names, while something like "Drowns-in-Skooma" may be fine, "High-on-Ket" wouldn't be.Maybe its the "iger"? Because of the N-Word.
No.

Apparently some letters aren't allowed to be near each other. Like xxxg mcccc, nothing with g m is allowed
We are allowed to use Jesus Christ as a taken before caught, alongbwith Harry Potter so I doubt it's copyright issues.

This reminds me of a tweet I read of a guy whose name was Nasser and the profanity filter turned the 'a' and the two 's' into * making it a 1000 times worse.

Am I supposed to think it was just some randomly-chosen name and that it wasn't in the slightest inspired by the name of the theme song for the "Tiger Mask W" anime series? After all, anime is such an obscure art form that no one has ever heard of that show and no one is familiar with the name of its theme song, right? /sarcasm (I mean, I had never heard of it, but I'm an old fogey.)

I'd say it's not unreasonable to assume they weren't trying to reference the anime.
I say that because when I read the OP, my first thought was that they're an LSU fan and wanted to make Mike the Tiger, but they figured that would surely already be taken so they dropped the M and tried for Ike the Tiger (which would make it sound close/similar), then got the "name not allowed" message.
(For reference, Mike the Tiger is the official mascot of Louisiana State University's football team.)

I think Mike is pretty well retired to his personal mansion/exhibit these days which is probably better for him but it was cool back when he made more appearances. Oh and congrats on the the baseball title. (Here's to us both beating BAMA come fall - GBO)
I got no clue who Ike the Tiger is tho. Didn't know it was thing before people linked stuff in this thread.
