Offline for months, mail waiting to be delivered disappeared when I did log back in

So, I was in 4 different guilds for a while and had many items up for sale on their sepearate guild stores. I quit playing for maybe 2 or 3 months one day out of the blue, and when I logged back in I had been (expected and warned) kicked from the 4 guilds but...

Here's the problem.

The items I had up for sale that did not sell by the time I was kicked, were sent back to my inbox. Okay hang with me here.

I logged in the first time after so many months and saw 76 messages in my inbox. Nothing came through immediately. Some minutes go by, I get like 5 mails. I wait and wait, nothing happens.

I log out, log into another character, few more mails come through. Wait, go do some stuff to pass some time...

Log out, log into another character, get yet a few more mails so in total like idk 15 -20 by now if even that.. Then the mails stop coming. The count reverted to 0.

Nothing else waiting to be delivered. I am missing multiple items I had up for sale, and expensive ones at that.

I tried waiting, switching zones, playing for a few hours straight thinking maybe through regular play they'll pop up again in my inbox. Nothing.

They've disappeared from existence. I submitted a customer support thing but wasn't sure what to select this under, and when I finally did submit it it got submitted as "feedback" instead of a bug even though I was trying to report a bug.

It has been at least a week maybe 2 going on three now and still nothing. Did I lose all those items just because I was logged out for so long?

It's not even that I logged in, had it in my mail, logged out for 30 days then it was auto deleted, I was logged out when it was sent to me, and by the time I logged back in they just didn't go through at all yet it told me I had a ton of messages waiting.

I thought waiting would allow it to load through to my inbox like I read around everyone saying but turns out waiting probably screwed me over and out of all those items.

F to me. I thought this was supposed to be fixed but apparently June 2023 nope it is not fixed unless you're going to try and tell me my experience is a lie and those items of mine never existed

That is all I have to say and I want to bring this to someones attention, as I can't be the only one this has happened to yet again and everything else I've found in searches out there about this are outdated or say it is fixed but clearly there's still an issue somewhere.

I lost maybe at least 1mil+ of items up for sale. Oh well, not like anything can or will be done to revert it. The nether has claimed my items forever

Unclaimed mail is returned to the sender after 30 days, whether the player has logged in or not. So yep, off to the nether it went.

Even if you haven't logged in huh. That is a bit ridiculous.

Thanks Zenimax, so great, so fun, wow
