I might also try some fishing there. I have an armory slot with the fishing CP perks, and also some of the pickled fish bowl, so I'm ready to fish!

Except things that increase the quality of the fish (Sharp's passive, fishing food, Angler's Instincts CP, and fishing in a group, etc) will clog up your loot pool with trash green and blue vendor fish.
If you're fishing for achievements, then those things are your friend. But if you're fishing for the new folios with furnishing plans, satchels, bottles, or Perfect Roe, then you're better off without them.RIP Bosmer Nation. 4/4/14 - 2/25/19.7 -

Paulytnz✭✭✭✭✭Sounds good that they are making fishing more rewarding. Now that they have added the fillet stack option and this, it's time to start working on a fun mini fishing game. Right now, fishing is just plain boring:
Press X (Ps5 here
),
Ignore controller vibrating (as it hinders, not helps the process!),
Watch rod for the pull back,
Press X again.
Boring!!!!
Zos, if you need any examples, go and see a game called Wartales, it's on steam. They do the minigames for Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining perfectly. Not overly complicated and still very quick/short to do. They take no longer than an extra 5-10 secs to do, compared to what we currently have. ✭For those of us who enjoy killing things, there should be an option to wade in to the water with swords swinging. Actually, the lightning staff at range should be pretty awesome for catching fish too.
I don't envy sitting there fishing as part of getting the mount.
You MADE ME FISH for 5 hours, for the Thrassian Stranglers, then nerfed the hell out of them. I don't forget !3 -
Deathgiggle✭✭✭Gratz, I've fished many hours and got tons of those loot folios but only got 1 purple plan out of them. The rest of the stuff was just common low priced stuff. On a side note, I have tons of fish, lol0
