Status update on DX12/Vulkan support?

On an AMA back in 2015, it was mentioned that DX12 is being looked into for additional performance improvements. Now we're in 2023, is this still the case?

At least running under steam proton (Linux) it shows the game is running under DXVK but idk whether that's the native implementation or not.
    110-114k Stage 4 Vamprie Magblade u39
Aldmeri Dominion did nothing wrong in Shadowfen.

Can confirm that DXVK is running fine with windows too.

Don't expect native Vulkan support tho, zos belongs to microsoft now

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

Tried googling it and it was an serious lack of information outside of cooperate stuff. Nothing from game developers or tech guys, equal fails in my setting.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

It's not native, but performs well enough. A native-implementation would lower CPU overhead which is great for big battles.

True, but as a Linux gamer I make it my duty to mention it in any case. :B
