I'm fine with these sorts of suggestions provided that (a) the changes are optional and (b) when they launch the default is the status quo with clear patch notes indicating any changes and where to access them. The recent change to quest tracking is a classic example of how to get it wrong by making the default setting the new change rather than the status quo. It just led to mass confusion and complaints on the forum.
