Please fix the block bug asap. It's worse than ever. Block drops, and it will not come back up for several seconds.

This is making hard content nearly impossible.

I understand you cannot determine "tone" when reading text. I am not trying to be rude in any possible way. I am asking in the most sincere, respectful way I can. Please, make fixing the block bug a priority?

This may be related to the issue I've had on arcanist lately with skills not firing? Like when using beam, mid way through swapping bars and trying to use another skill will sometimes lock you out from using any skills/abilities till the original channel time ends.

Have slapped down beam, then swapped instantly and was locked out of my skills for 4ish seconds. Now I just make it a habit to hit block before bar swap/using other skills from channel.

It's not related to the increased lag/server issues this past weekend with the release of Necrom.... those issues present differently... and was a problem in every trial I partook in at some point for the majority(even if for a brief few seconds)

I am curious, is block dropping from bar swap? or? anything that leads up to it. NGL, I love ESO- but the buggy nature of it makes doing vet content a PITA.

It appears to be occurring from many things. Sometimes you can bar swap, or roll dodge to fix it. Other times, good luck. It can be down for 10 seconds no matter what you do.

I really hope they fix this asap.

would you be able to explain the steps to recreate this block bug? I've been able to clear vet content as tank since the patch and have yet to encounter it, none of the other tanks have been saying anything about it either.

for starters, is it on a specific class that this is happening?

It's happening to multiple classes.

I've had many people mention it's happening to them on different classes. It happens to me when I'm playing on my Sorc tank.

I don't know what's causing it. It just seems to happen.

I should also mention that I'm on PlayStation. I don't know of that matters.

That probably matters greatly, as PC players are on a different version than you.

I only tank in nigh-level content, and I haven't had any major issues with block since they fixed the block bug a few months ago. There have also been no reports on block issues since then either. Are you talking about the 'stuck-in-heavy-attacks' bug?

It may help if you had screenshots or a video about your problem since it doesn't seem to be as widespread as the previous one. But also, since you're getting an update patch in a week, a fix for your problem may be inbound as well.

OP if you really want zos to fix a bug you need to show it, or at least explain how you got it + report it ingame so the devs can somehow backtrace the back, crying on the forums hurdur block bug is back without showing proof/explaining how to replicate is just low effort and borderline troll.

Read my first post. I said what I said with the most sincere effort and respect. I wish it were possible to make a post without being attacked on the forums saying you're "crying, and being a troll."

THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS. The block bug was never fixed ( at least on PlayStation that I'm aware of ) and it's making hard mode content a serious issue to complete.

I'll post a video of it in a few. I recorded some things yesterday to send to my group. They also have the same issues. They play on different classes for tanks. I don't know what's causing it.

It's not specific to any certain content. It's happening in dungeons and trials.

I made a video of block dropping. This has been happening for months. It not only happens to me, but many tanks that I play with. It happens to many different classes, in trials, and in dungeons.

I have Turning Tide on my front bar, Olorime back bar, Bloodlord's Embrace chest, Mighty Chudan monster set, and a Trainee girdle.

Again, this happens to many different classes, with different gear sets, and in different content.

When I'm watching these two clips, it looks like block dropped after doing a bash. I have seen it drop from many different things over the last few months. Sometimes it appears to happen when you roll dodge, bar swap, or do any skill.

I am on PlayStation. I can't think of any other information I can provide.

This is the resource depletion tri-focus block bug reported in this topic https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en-gb/discussion/629238/u37-block-ish-bug#latest

The bug activates when your magicka (on ice staff with tri-focus) or stamina (on any other bar) reaches zero while blocking. When you try to block with any resource again, it does not reapply until you do a roll dodge, even if you have resources to block again.

Blocking glyphs in u37 were pretty useful for tanks to pick and use for encounters where the bosses have long channels (like Ozzezan), as well as constant reminders to never let your blocking resource get below 10%. Others suggest you can prevent this bug by refunding Tri Focus and block only with Stamina.

Fixed an issue where swapping bars while blocking and out of resources, while under the effects of Tri Focus or Stormweaver’s Cavort, could disable block until you dropped block and reactivated it.

While the patch note is not exactly correct, they did address the bug here.

I have the trifocus removed from my builds. I do not like having my magicka drained while on an ice staff.

PC NA here. The same thing happens to me and other tanks I know. It doesn't matter what class we're using.
