All but one are level 50 in all crafting skill lines and able to do daily writs. Only one is crafter and has learnt all traits. However all can craft their own potions and enchants.Do your alts all craft
All of them PvP.do they do dungeons or pvp?
Yes.Are all your alts geared?
Yes. No. Not exactly. They all PvP in Cyro at least once a month for transmute crystals. 3x NBs for different alliances are the same build with minor differences. My warden and stamplar see the least use.Are there alts that are a lil dusty cos you never played them in a long while?
No. Unless you count using occasional emotes or the fact that my warden is called "Your Ex-Girlfriend".Do you rp on any of your alts?
No. They're usually all parked next to the crafting writ board in Vivec City.Do your alts have their own home and zones they frequent?
They all have their own outfits.Do you style your alts?
I don't care about achievements.Do you perhaps do all achievements on your alts?
One or two once had all skyshards. These days it feels pointless. Just do all the public dungeon group events, including some DLC, and you have a viable character.Do they all have wayshrines opened to them in every zone and all the skyshards?
I've been more interested in completing the stickerbook.recently i started working on getting all skyshards for each of them...i started clearing zones alphetically
If you have friends in different factions or you want to low pop grind AP, that makes sense....im also working on gearing some alts for 3 pvp factions.

Among the former, there's the DK main that concentrates all activities, like tanking, 9-trait-crafting, PvP, etc. The other one is a (dusty) necro who can do plenty, like tanking dungeons/trials, though he's not geared for PvP. He's also a minicrafter, with 8 traits researched in everything (9 in jewelry). Each has a different background: DK is a vampire mercenary world-saver, necro is a grumpy recluse with a taste for technology. The reason for the latter being reclusive is that I dislike repeating most quests, so that explains why he doesn't bother with most questlines. The DK has every wayshrine and skyshard discovered and the necro, most of them. Both of them have their outfits and homes, though I RP with the DK. I park them both at the very same spot near Leyawiin's wayshrine before calling it a night. They frequent whatever zones they need.
I'm not very much into making alts, so for years I focused only on the DK. Made the necro because it's a necro, after all. I like to immerse myself in the game and I find switching toons breaks that (especially when my internet was prehistoric and switching took forever).
Many many alts. I play 3 accounts, both PC megaservers. I log into every one of them for some play every month. They are all individuals, different outfits, different mounts, different houses etc.
When I'm on anyone, I get skyshards, wayshrines; run quests from where I left off. The only ones I play more than a bit are my 6 mains, unless I'm in the mood for a different character experience.
[BTW, I'm retired. In my mid 70s, gaming is my hobby forever. Played my first CRPG in the mid 80s, though when I had to work, I didn't play because I'm a tad bit obsessive as to hours of gaming - because just SO much more fun than hours of work y'know?]

One was designed to be a thief for making money (I've since basically ceased doing that because I make better money in other ways now)
One was designed for soloing dungeons.
One was designed for doing most of the morally questionable quest lines. (Okay, so I still won't do Goblin's Delight on it even though it means I miss out on a dye)
The other 10 were all intended to be serious characters that I used for a variety of content.
When the characters fail to live up to my desires for them they turn into utility characters. At this point, all of them have failed. 1 has turned into my dungeon running character for when I do dungeons with groups, 1 has virtually all of my motifs, 2 are used for PvP, 3 others can craft, and the other 3 are just storage mules at this point that I occasionally experiment on.
I've popped out multiple alts because I try to make characters I like from a gameplay and story direction but, I tend to find that when I do enough content or enough optimization I no longer like the character.
ESO's quests seem to place the player character into the position of being a famous magical idiot that generally does the right thing but, occasionally goes about it in a questionable manner.
I personally find that clashes a bit with what I want to RP as which frequently leads me to give up on characters after a few months as they've done too many things I dislike/acted like an idiot too many times.
ESO's combat design tends to favor either being flashy and spammy or doing a very limited number of things.
Neither approach really appeals that much to me which generally means that the characters I optimize will end up in the utility pile eventually.
Just to include statistics from the "other" part of the pie chart!
I have 0 alts, I just don't seem to have enough gaming time in my life to manage with more than 1 character.
(this is NOT a negative comment on those who do manage with multiple characters, by the way, so no offence intended)
