Can we sync tempos of instruments please

So, you have some player using the "lute" instrument, then another player joins in and plays the guitar, and then another player bangs a drum....
however the tempos (and pitch / key) often don't match, so it sounds like a one man band falling down a flight of stairs haha.
I would like to suggest, that if possible the tempos of the instruments are matched, so that if someone hits a drum and its say 90bpm, and then someone joins in with a lute, that also plays at 90bpm, and not 75bpm or whatever it is.
Perhaps something can be changed so we can still play randomly, but with the option to sync to other players, so /drum for normal random play, or /drummatch or /drumsync to lock in with others.
