Mora's Whispers' ***inspiration boost*** makes near-zero sense

I would like to take a moment in here to point out that you do not need to max out antiquities line to dig up any mythic item - mythics only require 4/5 of scrying primary skill node :)

Now the inspiration boost along with experience and alliance rank boosts are more of a flavour buffs in there, with the main primary purpose of the item is the critical chance rating buff. General theme is that the more you have read/know the faster you learn new things.

I'll take any xp boost I can get when training companions.

I agree, personaly i find lvling up fighters guildes worse.

    Really? O_o
Together with a friend, you can level FG to 10 in like 2-3 hours max. Of all the guilds out there, this is by far the easiest one.
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Pretty much. Also if you're playing a new character you usually end up passively leveling it quite a bit without thinking about it anyway.

AFAIK, book knowledge is still per character, so the inspiration bonus is pretty pointless. I’m using it now in combination with other XP boosts for leveling companions.

Yup, even for alts by the time they can full use of the ring, they will likely be on their way to maxing out their crafting skills. The only way I can see the inspiration boost being really useful is if they release a new crafting skill in the future.

I actually use this set a lot. I don't really care about the XP buff though. On the dummy, there are better options, but in actual content the crit bonus on this is really good. It doesn't require time to "stack" you don't have to worry about stacks falling off if you take damage, or go out of combat, it doesn't slow you down, it doesn't lower your light attack damage.

On an Arcanist you will probably use Velothi, but on any other class that Velothi doesn't make sense this is a reasonable choice.

Um. I don't find books a grind. My characters read every book they com across in normal gameplay. I've got many alts who are at MG level 10 on books alone - I've never bothered to do the MG quests on them, because I despise Sheo. And my mains (3 accounts, both PC megaservers) all have "Shalidor's Library", not that it matters because I don't have any interest at all in this particular mythic.

My point is, there's really no grind for MG - it's just reading books as you stumble across them. And even though I really won't do the questline any more - it's not that big a deal. I just refuse to intereact any more with Sheo.

I agree, personaly i find lvling up fighters guildes worse.

Well, me too. I really just hate having to kill gobs of mobs to level something. And the quests are annoying too - finally finished the last one on a second account main, and not doing it ever again.

Undaunted falls into that category for me too....

honestly i see inspiration boosts in general as kind of meh because it doesnt take too much to rank up crafting just deconning all your drops

i do however, see 1 valid case where the inspiration boost on this mythic would come in handy

it is possible you could have 0 crafting lvls if you got your toon powerleveled and then just went on a book hunt in which you do not necessarily need to kill a whole lot

this would give you a cp160+ character who has the mythic, but very low crafting skills

i still have most of my toons missing crafting levels in alchemy and provisioning because i cant decon those items and i dont want to waste the mats crafting junk items just to rank them up

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities
