Next class, resources based on weapon with bar

Next class you make with swappable resource costs, how about costs changing based on what weapon is currently equipped to the action bar? Such as if they're Dual-Wielding or Bow the class abilities on that bar cost Stamina while if they're using a Staff the cost of class abilities become Magicka.

How about no more new classes as the game is bloating and becoming too hard to balance as classes get neglected too long in the rotation.

Would much prefer a universal skill line. I suppose it could function based on Weapon equipped. Needs to not be gated behind a BS grind as well. You do one quest to unlock it and it levels like the mainline skill lines. Perhaps make the chapter quests grant bonus xp to it, but I'm sick of the fetch quest grind. That way it would be usable on new alts easily.

Could be neat to make all the morphs auto match your classes damage types. Sorc morphs all do lightning and physical, DK fire and poison, Warden poison/Bleed and frost, etc. That way it has equal synergies with all classes. Makes it easier to balance.

This actually would be really nice since then the player can choose what the cost will be. I don't have sustain issues on my (stam) arcanist dps but I could see the forced switching to be a problem for sustain.

I like using Destro and being able to use stamina skills. It's good for the sustain to have a few skills that cost off-resource without being forced to play a specific weapon. And I like what they did with Arcanist where you have skills that cost highier of your max resource and a skill that cost lower of the max resource. This, imo, is the way to go.

The biggest issue with the biggest issue with the current "hybrid" system is that medium armour is more dps than light and staff builds don't have as many "off resource" options as stam builds because most class skills are magicka.

This means stam builds have significantly better sustain options while also having more damage than mag builds. Not only do they get the higher damage of running medium armour, but they get the cost reduction on their primary skills and have lots of options from their class toolkit for magicka skills.

Mag with staff builds however have far fewer off stat skills to use and they have to sacrifice raw damage by wearing light armour to try and deal with the sustain problems.
