Started randomly hitting message limit and being booted last night

I've been playing on the PTS since the new content dropped, with whatever addons weren't throwing lua errors, and I could do this for hours with no problem, so I don't think it's any of the addons' problem. At some point last night, with NO lua errors popping up, I kept freezing then getting booted back to the login screen for "hitting the message limit", all within a matter of seconds from loading into the game world. Is anyone else experiencing this, and if so, has anyone found a fix?

✭✭✭✭✭just because an addon is not throwing UI errors does not mean it is not the cause of this issue lol
it might still be a good idea to try disabling all addons to confirm if it is or is not a result of the addonsplays PC/NA
