DKs got Major Berserk. Come On.

Title. You gave DK's - the straight up strongest class in the game - access to Major Berserk on a class skill, and you gave Nightblades an unnamed 10% damage buff that they can stack freely with Major Berserk. But Sorcerers only get Minor Berserk?!?! Hello fairness? Equitable access?! If Sorcerers are supposed to be one of the pure damage with minimal defense classes (which is a joke considering DKs tbh) they should at at least also get access to Major Berserk if not BOTH.
Sorcerer's access is stuck on an interruptible channeled ability, WAY worse than DKs getting it on an actual useful offensive ability. It needs to be actually good and worth that massive risk.This isn't it.

The atro doesn't give you anything unless someone else grabs the synergy. Also no one runs the Atro in PVP, just like no one runs Dark Deal in PVE. They're completely different scenarios and people need to not conflate them. Just like how everyone always has Minor Force from RAT in PVP or from Trap in PVE, it is redundant at best.

You misread how the Major Berserk is applied. You can't apply it to yourself. This is exactly the same as is currently on Live.

Minor force on Dark deal is not redundant.
I don't have the bar space for RAT on my sorc.
It's nice that it's on a skill I already use... Dark deal.

Minor berserk and force is way more than I expected. I'd just be happy if they added major crit to Crit Surge.

this would be significantly better for dark exchange compared to what we got. pretty much in any situation where there is a healer running any morph of dark exchange is a dps loss.

The dark exchange buff is effectively pointless in PvE because they haven't addressed the primary issue with sorcs, bar space.
You cannot run dark exchange without dropping hurricane or trap.
You can see their thinking with minor force on dark deal that you can drop trap. This is a massive dps loss.

The only time it's worth slotting dark exchange is if you want the heal and not the matriarch or you want the sustain. If we had flex spots it might be a different situation, but we don't, so it's not.

Minor Berserk on Dark Deal is below average at best since every Stam Sorc in PvP runs Camouflaged Hunter anyways. If you drop Camo Hunter then you lose Major Savagery/Prophecy, 3% wd/sd from Slayer passive, and anti stealth. The opportunity cost just isn't there. Major Berserk obviously would have made more sense.

So basically Stam Sorcs only get Minor Force on Dark Deal, which is actually a good change. Race Against Time overlaps on Major Expedition with Quick Cloak and CC break with Ball Lightning. So not running RAT and still getting Minor Force is a win.

lack of access to major crit is one of the biggest pain points on sorcs in my opinion.

And barely any DK runs with chains in both PvE and PvP yet You made it Your main argument. By that logic ZoS could add major berserk to a shattering prison and call it a day because sorc would get major berser after all on ability that would be used as often as chains are used right now on a DKs.

Sorcs are using atro in PvP as often as DKs are using chains there but atleast atro is commonly used in PvE where chains are not used at all. Overall major berserk from atro will find way more use than major berserk from chains.

It definitely isn't my preferred option, but I wouldn't hate this. The Immobilize from the Encase morphs is actually very underrated and it would be nice to actually have a compelling reason to slot it. The Major Vitality is nice, if you build to make the space for it, but over all not super high value, and the damage from the other morph is trash. Berserk might actually be enough to make it worth slotting for a really nice combo with Streak.
