There was a similar policy in LOTRO when it started and the result was that the nerds went mad and mass reported people for violating Sindarin grammar and whatever other reason they came up with. Some people even inspected other players and lore-checked the names of their legendary weapons.
No, ESO does not need any kind of name police that goes beyond the existing rules. If other people's names are disturbing you or spoil your immersion, turn them off and mind your own business. Not everyone is willing to dig into the ESO lore and everyone is paying the same money to play the game.
That was Laurelin, IIRC. The players on Landroval were cool.

No, I never played on the RP servers. It was a normal server I was talking about. I don't even want to imagine the lore frenzy on a RP server.

I just started again on the Xbox and the Xbox stuck random numbers after my name. I will learn how to remove them eventually but there is an entire world which needs to be rescued from Molag Bal and that's my main priority at the moment.

Yes - all my argonians have names like that - maybe the next one will get the name "Calls-Name-Police"?There are lots of Argonian NPC with phrases as names, I don't think players need to have enforced a kind of european high fantasy name on them
