PTS - Access to Classes and Crown Store

I just went back to the PTS just now. All my toons were gone. NP. I've not been keeping up. The last time I logged in to the PTS it had a copy of all my toons and that was annoying because I only had one slot to try to make a new toon. BUt ok.

But with no toons in the PTS, I was dropped into the character creation screen. Cool. I tried to make an Arcanist and it didn't show up at all, and Necro was grayed out.

So two issues. I'm an ESO plus member and assumed I would get access to the Necro. But even if as an ESO plus member I don't get Necro - not sure I'll check later - I don't have access to the Crown store on the character creation page to buy it.

So several questions:
1 - Don't we get all classes as ESO Plus member? Gee. I thought we got the whole game as an ESO PLus member.
2 - Don't we need a crown store button on the character creation page? If we don't have that, then we have to create a Sacrificial toon we don't wanna play and then buy stuff in the store and then go back and create the toon we want.
3 - I've seen folks talking about the Arcanist class as if they have played it on the PTS, but today I don't see the Arcanist even as a Grayed out option.

Anyway, maybe this is all just my confusion, but these seem like odd things to see this close to Expansion Release on the PTS.

The PTS isn’t updated yet, that will happen tomorrow. People who have played Arcanist have played it on a completely different closed-off server. And yes, I do actually make a “throwaway” character as a main for each PTS cycle (you don’t have your characters because it’s only NA copy for 2 weeks, then EU until the next DLC drops on PTS). I make it a nightblade in case I need to sneak around to view anything in the new content so there’s no problem with having to “buy” a DLC class (although I have both already).
