I have no interest in either so it wouldn't affect me, but as a principle I think there are too many things in the game that have been made account-wide already and I'm opposed to more things being made so.

I have only 1 character and not going to create more, so current prices of outfit/armory slots are fine for me.
If they were account-wide, their price would be much higher (like 7500 crowns) and i am against this.
Why would ZOS keep the same price and make them to affect all alts? Increasing price is the only reason i can think of.
It's interesting... people complain about ZOS putting so much focus on Crown Crates, and yet, want them to remove items outside of Crown Crates that earn them income. So they make Armories and Outfits account wide and then have to incentivize Crown Crates even more to make up for the lost revenue.
Obviously WHO WOULDN'T want Armories and Outfits account wide? BUT, this is a big source of revenue for ZOS and they aren't going to do it. Just like Mount upgrades, etc. This is also the reason they will never give us Class change tokens, because they make too much money from people upgrading new characters.
People seem to forget that ZOS is a 'for profit' company that needs to constantly generate revenue and profits to provide return to investors. And unlike FFXIV, ESO has shown that it cannot survive on mandatory subscriptions because the worldwide mass appeal is not there, it's a niche game. So without mandatory subscriptions, they have to generate revenue elsewhere... and unfortunately, it comes down to in-game store items and Crown Crates.
