A few standouts are:
- the 10% shield strength and cost passive
- Abyssal impact, 5% more damage to a target...
- Increased spell and weapon damage when gaining resources?
- Pen for skills slotted. Arcanists might be able to fully pen players in PVP without much effort.
- Minor breach skill to enemies attacking you
- Minor protection, minor resolve for allies, and a safety heal in one skill.
It's worse than that...
Gain crux and proc 2 passives: Fated Fortune increases critical damage, Hideous Clarity regains mag/stam.
Regaining mag/stam procs Harnessed Quintessence, which increases weapon/spell power.
Spamming Runeblades will generate crux, and so:
- Increase critical damage
- Regain mag/stam
- Increase weapon/spell power
while also giving either a splash effect or increased crit for the morphs.
And increasing the damage for the majority of subsequent skills you use because of the crux you generate.
From what I gather you really need to use Arcanist skills, and in a specific order, to get the most out of the class and that might limit build variety. Not sure if I like that.
I can't help but wonder... they say they want people to be able to be full tank without having to rely on other skill lines, but they don't offer a class source for Major Breach, which IMO is extremely important for a tank to provide. Tanking isn't just about taunting, which they did add a class taunt, but no Major Breach.
We're not seeing the morphs yet.
Seems really overpowered in debuff/buffs/dps of supports like it will shake up what the go-to trial configuration will be and increase in-content damage ceilings, which I find insulting since everyone got nerfed already because damage was too high…
Yes, and as some of us have pointed out in previous threads, that can actually cause adverse physical reactions in some people.NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »Why is the green so damn bright. That green looks even worse than templar's light.

The morphs can be seen at Hack the Minotaur.
That's where I found them.

So once again, they have decided to deny magicka builds a execute. Really lame. Cause stam really needs that with executes built into all their weapons.

Why don't you use it anyway?? The damage scales off whichever is higher weapon or spell damage.
Just go hybrid.
I'm going to use both the Rune blades AND the Abyssal Impact execute.
Only need like 10 attribute points into stam.
I'm going to do it the opposite and only put 10 points into magicka.
