I have a fresh install of the game, and whenever I click on Play I receive this error. I am running Windows XP. I have seen some talk about the "Live" folder, but I do not have that anywhere. Any insight?
For anyone else that has this error, I fixed it by updating my old old old Windows XP with service pack 3. Hope this helps anyone who has this issue as well.
