No need to get rude toward a team that has been working on this not just since 8pm last night, but something we have been working toward for quite some time now.
And as noted in the banner, our current estimate for completing maintenance is around 2pm EDT / 7pm BST. Will let you all know if it's looking like this will be wrapped up sooner.23 -

thejadefalcon✭✭✭✭✭It's not about the work that's being put into this, Gina. We all accept (at least, I hope we all accept) that is a pretty involved process with a lot of things that need triple-checking, especially if you've learned from what went wrong with PC NA.
What we're frustrated about, and quite rightly so, is *when* you scheduled this. Not only on the one day of the week that messes with trading guilds (when we're already missing obvious features, like the ability to mail everyone in the guild with updates without risking getting social banned (which I believe has happened four times to my guild lead)), but in the middle of the most crowded events of the year. There are plenty of people playing PC EU who will simply not be able to earn event tickets today. And that's assuming everything actually works out alright and there's absolutely no problems which, historically speaking, is a laughable concept to PC EU players.
And to be told that you're moving Whitestrake's Mayhem because you don't want any maintenance to interfere with events, then doing this, is terrible communication on top of every other problem.7 -

True, but that just rewards every other server which doesn't have this maintenance. This event was already garbage, seeing as how it's literally impossible (not even a case of crap RNG, just simply literally impossible) to earn all of the rewards without spending tickets. Eight days (initially seven) for twelve items that only have a chance to drop? Nice to see ZOS took our feedback on the last Witches Festival and threw it in the bin, since it was criticised then too.6 -

Yep. Sure is great knowing that these maintenances could happen on literally any other day of the week without affecting guild traders but they intentionally choose the one time that's going to cause inconvenience.

✭Well, they intentionally chose a time that was (a) during an event and (b) on a Tuesday.
Whether they thought through the implications of one or both of these things is another matter.
I mean, technically "making the event longer by a day" may have been a reaction to (a), but since it was ALSO made longer for people on the US server, then EU people are still losing out *by comparison*: the situation between players on one server and players on another is not equal.
This is why I believe, having removed the February version of Whitestrake's Mayhem, what they should have done is moved the *entire* Jesters Festival earlier so it was unaffected by maintenance, and so that there would be a few clear days in between Jesters and Anniversary in which to do the server upgrade.1 -

Many players doubted it would ever happen, but this is it. It happened. As soon as everything is sorted group content will be awesome again. Fun will be had in every part of this game. Congrats everyone!

Speaking of seals, when Na had problems and couldn't log in due to the server renew, we all got compensated with extra seals 2 weeks later,if EU misses out on seals will everyone be compensated too?Total ESO playtime: 8325 hours

People have been complaining about the servers, now that they're fixing the servers, people are complaining about that. Which, may I remind you, is for all players to have a better gaming experience. No other reason. The entitlement here is astounding.
YES of course all this is frustrating. I play exclusively on the NA PC server and sometimes I say bad words when it's not working right. But like... it's a flippin' video game. Things happen. Be patient. Have a Snickers bar.

Well, according to a post by Kevin a few days ago, they had to choose a time when all the involved teams were available, As we are talking about a server farm with (probably) several third party contractors involved who are not interested in the game the players the guilds or the traders I would say ZOS probably did the best they could as far as player implication was concerned.Well, they intentionally chose a time that was (a) during an event and (b) on a Tuesday.

No problem at all.
All the tickets, seals and trader wars pale in comparison with lagfree Cyro (hopefully) and smooth group PvE - totally worth waiting.
