Low drop rate on Scrap of Minstel's Cloth...

I've gotten at least 4 this week from drops and another 4 that I purchased with tickets. Just need two more and I'll have the ten. I only have one character that I play.

I received 7 across two accounts and a guildie sent me one. I will have to buy 2 from the merchant if I do not get any tomorrow morning before work. I am in the same boat with the frustration with the pig fragments. I have been trying two years to get them and only have 2 of them on one.

Dropped 4 with boxes, bought 6 with tickets earned during the event. Spent 0 crowns. Still had 7 tickets left over and bought the hide shoulders. Will get the morph fragments with tickets from the anniversary event.

I play on one account, and I sold every scrap I got at the guild trader. I think I ended up getting 7 scrap of minstrel's cloth.

I'm happy that ZOS made it possible for folks to sell the scrap so that others could get the Jester's costume. On PS/NA I saw the scrap listed for 80k and up at the Mournhold traders, and mine sold at my guild's trader for the low end price.

I managed to obtain two cloths from the full event and stuck them in a storage box. I'm not sure if I will keep them or sell them off in the near future.

I quit playing the ZOS Crown game for items that are a nudge away from the p2w boundary and do the minimum required o get my daily tickets. The situation with Minstrel's cloth just adds to the reasons I stopped subscribing and playing the game except when event tickets are available.

I will let my wub lapse occasionally now, so I probably sub 1/3 months now, I used to buy a year at a time, now I just sub when inventory becomes a problem so I can craft bag everything. I've bought all the DLC with crowns and buy each expansion, stopped buying crown crates after averaging 60 or so each time they released one.

I would also normally buy crowns when they went on sale, but now I've bought damn near everything but some of the houses, which I already own too many of :-P

I will say that the way they monetize things feels abusively exploitative at times and that has also factored into my reduced spending.

Exactly.

*For the record, five pieces on one server and two on the other, playing every day on several characters. I'm still on year four of trying to finish the sovereign sow on one server and still lack five of the necessary 7 parts, while finishing it on the other server in one year. RNG, much like karma, is a ***.

Every one I got on NA (3) I gave away freely. The couple I got on EU I sold for 50 k each cuz I needed gold. But that was the lowest price I saw.

Ended up with 6 pieces for the whole event. Since I started playing when it came out on PS in June 2015 this is the first time I have not been able to get all the collectable offered in any event. Guess that's what ZOS wanted, since we were unable to complete it without paying pieces for gold or real life money.

Way to go ZOS really showing you care for your customers' satisfaction by making something available as a reward for an event but then make it impossible to earn yourself.

I think the costume is horrible....but I'm totally fine with the 3-4 million gold I banked selling the scraps.

I got 6 over the whole event, collecting on 3 accounts. I bought the last 4 towards the end when they came down a bit (90k each on playstation) but it's really disappointing that they'd have drops this low for such a short event
