I was able to get around this issue by logging onto another character and then trying again on the one with the problem.

I've been switching between the two that I've created. I suppose I could create a few more and see if maybe I'll be allowed to log in? Haven't been able to get any "early access" yet. Seriously starting to regret buying the game.
