Hi, I'm looking for a friendly, not too hard core but still competent pve focused (I dislike pvp and while pvp is okay in the guild - a guild focused on it will tend to rub me the wrong way as it's typically emo brats who enjoy this type of play). I like to raid but I don't want to be driven to grind toward end game in this, a brand new mmo. I've got vast mmo experience in WoW, Lotro and eve online and once raided 8 hours a day with the leftovers.org team in WoW. I don't have that kind of time anymore.
-- My hours of availability vary but I'm not a kid anymore so late night (past midnight) is not going to be a good match for me. I have adult stuff to do during the day and need at least 6 hours of sleep.
.
I'm also a huge ESO fan. I've played since morrowind - the decade before I was in the military or I'm sure I would've been playing redguard, daggerfall and arena as well.
I have an adult sense of humor so please, no family guilds or guilds where someone has a stick up their ass about jokes and light swearing on occasion.
I currently have a vent server if one is needed. I don't use teamspeak but am willing to learn. I will NOT use mumble as everytime I've attempted to download this program I get virus warnings so no - just - no.
I plan on taking my time with this game so don't be shocked if I'm farting around at lvl 15 gathering mats while 90% of the guild has max leveled in less than a month. I feel that kind of grinding to "end game" ruins the game experience. that being said, once I do reach max level I very much look forward to raid progression and some of the other new max level stuff the TESO team is planning.
I'm in this for the long haul - this will be my primary game/mmo for the foreseeable future. I'm not the kind of person that jumps from game to game. I find one I like and stick with it. Although, if bethsoft comes out with "fallout online" I may have to forgo sleep for the rest of my life.
I tend to be heavy into crafting/market in any game so you can depend on me for at least some of this - as long as mats are provided - depending on my supply. I'm finding it rather easy to get heavy and light armor mats while it seems leather - which will be the most in demand - is the hardest to get. grrr...
Please feel free to ask me anything. Being ex-military nothing much bothers me (except emo heads,
) and nothing is "taboo" - I'm not a "politically correct" stick up ass type of person. *cheers!*
