Nope, you cannot get rid of their dislikes. But you can try to use a companion that likes most things you do. However, I too think they should get rid of their dislikes as it just feels bad if you lose rep on them by accident. Maybe a setting to disable their dislikes, so it is still possible for players to max their dislike if they want to.
I think the opposite OP: the fact that they have dislikes makes them more immersive instead of less, because they seem like a genuine character with their own specific personality, and not like a robot-like follower only meant to please the Vestige. That's why they are releasing different ones, so that every player will find one that hopefully clicks with them.

They should have attached them as hirelings from the guilds, mages/undaunted/fighters, then they can just have a purchase price, add new ones on at any time.

I quite like Mirri, as her tastes fit nicely with mine. What infuriates me, though, is how those blasted torchbugs just love to hover by nodes, as if taunting me. You can interact with them without collecting anything, which doesn't kill them, so I agree merely clicking them shouldn't trigger disapproval. I most likely wouldn't bother with companions if they didn't have personal traits.
