PTS Patch Notes v8.3.3

ZOS_GinaBruno

The Elder Scrolls Online v8.3.3 contains additional fixes for some combat abilities including Living Dark, Tri Focus, Uppercut and Concentrated Barrier, and a fix for the Valkyn Skoria Monster Mask. There are also several fixes and further adjustments for the Scribes of Fate dungeons, housing, and some UI issues. The size of this patch is approximately 541MB.

Templar

• Dawn’s Wrath
  • Eclipse
    • Living Dark (morph): Fixed an issue where this ability's visual effects would persist in place when the target that used the ability would stealth or become invisible.

Weapons

• Destruction Staff
  • Tri Focus: Fixed an issue where the block cost override from this passive could persist when using the Armory System, creating situations where your Magicka Recovery could become disabled.
• Two Handed
  • Uppercut: Fixed an issue where this ability and the Wrecking Blow morph would lose targeting far easier than the Dizzying Swing morph.

Guild

• Psijic Order
  • Concentrated Barrier: Fixed an issue where when activated, this passive could cause cast and channel time abilities to behave improperly while you were bracing (actively holding block).

Monster Masks

• Valkyn Skoria: Fixed an issue where this set's damage could become desynced from its visual effects and appear to fail in many cases.

Furnishings

• Updated the name of the new "Druidic Hearth, Stone" furnishing to "Druidic Chimney, Stone" as there was already a furnishing with the prior name.
• Corrected some stretched textures for the “Druidic Chimney, Stone” furnishing.
• Corrected some small visual issues with the “Druidic Platform, Curved Stone Edge” furnishing.
• The “Druidic Door, Wood” furnishing now correctly opens when opened, instead of appearing closed but letting you walk through it.

Dungeons

  • General
    • Everyone will now all see the same state of puzzles no matter when you enter the area.
  • Kovan Giryon
    • Clones will now always remove themselves from the encounter when intended.
  • Matriarch Lladi Telvanni
    • Reduced the damage of Choking Pestilence when the challenge banner has been raised.
• Scrivener’s Hall
  • General
    • The achievement “Too Hot to Trot” is now correctly awarded to all player characters if Firestorm is successfully avoided by all player characters.
  • Valinna and Lamikhai
    • Increased the health and damage of Valinna and Lamikhai when the challenge banner is raised.
    • Immolation trap now does increased damage when the challenge banner is raised.
    • Frost Trap now increases the damage done to Lamikhai while frozen.
    • Increased the damage of Scorching Heat and Rain of Fire and increased the ramp up damage per tick.
    • Pyroclastic Vexation now increases the damage Valinna does and she now heals herself during the final phase of the encounter.
    • Increased the health of Crashing Meteor when the challenge banner is raised.
    • Rolling Boulders are now summoned by Valinna when the challenge banner is raised, rather than the Crashing Meteors.
    • Web bridges will now visually reappear when players are defeated.

Furnishings

• Fixed an area of mismatched textures on the back of the “Craglorn Podium, Filled” achievement furnishing.
• Improved the accuracy of the collision, added bottom textures, and resolved some small visual issues for the “Dark Elf Archway, Stone” achievement furnishing.
• The book "Rumors of the Spiral Skein" can no longer rarely be found in Scrivener's Hall and is once again unique to the Trappings of Mephala Worship furnishing pack.

Anniversary Jubilee

• Fixed an issue with the 2023 Replica Jubilee Cake furnishing that would cause some flickering when placed.
• Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause the Bag of Jubilee Yesteryear to be empty if you already had the Aurora Firepot Spider collected.
• Updated the Worm Cult Style Master achievement to properly reflect sourcing as of this year's Anniversary Jubilee.

Jester’s Festival

• Fixed an issue where the Hide Shoulder collectible was not visible on the Impresario’s assistant after the event was over.

Homes

• Removed a bright spot near the source of the lighthouse beacon in Fogbreak Lighthouse, as it appeared unnatural when viewed from certain angles.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the various doors in Fogbreak Lighthouse from being correctly localized in various languages.

Furnishings

• The following interactable furnishings now correctly have the interactable item tag:
  • Dres Censer, Chains
  • Druidic Incense Burner, Clay
  • High Isle Censer, Metal
  • Hollowjack Lantern, Soaring Dragon
  • Hollowjack Lantern, Toothy Grin
  • Primal Brazier, Rock Slab

General

• Fixed a rare crash related to visual effects that could occur on Macs and PCs with a lower amount of CPU cores.

• Fixed a UI error that could occur when double-clicking in the PEGI country selection.

Gamepad Mode

• Fixed a UI error in the Zone Guide that was caused by jumping to an entry not currently visible on screen.
• Fixed a UI error that would appear in the bank UI while choosing an amount of currency to deposit or withdraw.

Screen Narration

• Renamed the narration voice type settings.
