Relequen in PvP

It outperforms old savage werewolf in PvP by miles and it overperforms in PvE. So is it gonna be nerfed or will everyone be playing two tick a second relequen in PvP next patch on top of being PvE meta and even more of a meta in PvP now that mara's will be worse?

Relequen isn't as great as you describe for PVP. If you are allowing someone to stand there and parse on you, then you should probably CC them or walk around an object. Stacks only last 5 secs. Right now the meta is burst damage, and relequen stacks build most quickly from resto staff/lightning staff HAs.

Additionally, Relequens cannot crit.

Have they buffed it in a pts or something?

If not, it's useless in PvP.

It's easy to disengage and let stacks fall off.

It might be ok in dueling? But that's not really an issue if it even is (which I doubt it is tbh)

Relequen is very good in pvp. Specifically, the sorcerer's archer. However, I don't see much in this section since I've only seen him in pvp a couple of times. This set needs to be used correctly and is not suitable for every class.

You cannot get two ticks per second out of Rele. Pure light attacking a dummy just now with dual wield (pushing the light attack's cooldown just enough that I missed one) gave me 65 hits of Rele in 46.5 seconds. Using only heavy attacks with a lightning staff gave 70 ticks of Rele in 55 seconds. That's 1.4 and 1.27 ticks per second, respectively, very close to what you typically see in a PvE dummy parse (I'm looking at 1.237 ticks of Rele per second on a Mag DK with a 0.043s weaving average and 2 misses on a 21m dummy).

In duels it can be a pain, but it's not causing bleed status effects like Savage Warewolf did. Tbh your focus should be more on sets that are starting to get used more due to being overlooked for quite some time. Like Way of Fire.

LoL friend was using that an I didn't know. Ran up on a guy who was firing his lancer Arby's and desperately trying to pack it up, I bashed to stop that and just watched his health drop to 0 before I could follow up.

We'll agree to disagree, whenever I see rele stacks on myself I honestly laugh and say that someone forgot to switch their gear when they came to cyrodiil.

If you're dying to Relequen in PvP then it's not the fault of the set itself. It's incredibly easy to let the stacks drop off by dodging and just not getting hit by LA/HA and if they're getting max stacks it's because you're letting them parse on you lol

So basically people are standing there and letting people parse on them is that it? I could be wrong here but i thought target has to be stationary?

The proc applies directly to the target. It's really only used in duels. And even then, its niche. Bowsorcs are the only spec I've seen run it.
