Why isn't this part of the Stonelore crate?

That's a good question, but I also seem to recall some people around these parts complaining that all the customized actions were stuffed into crown crates, and now it seems they aren't.

Now, is it worth the price? (No. Objectively no.) But I'm sure some people are happy that it's not it a loot box--like me, who is probably about to hit up a crown seller for it.

It's an improvement that you can just buy them, but of course it's a timed deal. And I agree, for what it is, the price is a bit high. Can't justify it.

Would be nice to have had these sort of things tied to achievements rather than a timed deal for $12. It feels like a lot of the feedback on rewards isn't being listened to, and they're doubling down.

New harvesting animations would have been the perfect thing to add to one of those "Harvest X,000 of Y resource" achievements, too.

Exactly! They could have all sorts of animations for the crafting achievements. I get they need to make money, but its products like these that make me really hesitant to get anything from the store.

after seeing some of the alternate animations, the only one i would even remotely consider an alternate animation is the gyrfalcon gather as that is an actual unique animation

the green teleport and the slightly green line/slightly altered axe look are just reskins of the base colored the same animation and dont really seem that unique at all

i do hope they do a better job on these going forward

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

I'd picked up the Gyrfalcon bcuz it actually CHANGED the animation into something different, kinda cool.

This is an axe with sparklers stuck to it's head. It looks like a quick cash grab, esp at 1200 crowns??
    Hard pass.

"Trees grant gifts that linger after their passing. Druids recognize this gift as what it is..."

"Well, what WOULD you spend 1200c on then?"

Hi ESO Design Team! I'm glad you asked!
What I WOULD have dropped 1200c on would be something where our character waves our hand slowly over the wood, a soft green glow emanates from the wood and the harvested wood material floats up and into our character's "pack" (back, body, whatevs)

That, is something I would pay for.

As someone else said, this really should have been a reward for an in-game achievement. Minus the green sparkles, it's identical to the standard one. I'd rather spend 1200c on a dungeon pack or appearance change.

I think it's an improvement that it's not part of the crates, if someone wants it they know exactly what they have to pay for it, unlike how it is with crates. Having said that, I'd also like for more in-game earned collectibles, but I still think moving away from putting everything new in crates is a good move, and I hope zos can find a balance with getting their revenue (because the game being sub-optional means there has to be a cash shop) but also implementing more consumer friendlier tactics with the shop.

in-game earning would be a lot better that's for sure.

For those who might not be aware of it, Recall of the Galen Wilds allows you to port anytime without a "cooldown" penalty. If your port price is 73g (e.g. when using CP to lower it down), it stays at 73g and never increases even if you just ported 3 seconds ago. :)

Be aware that that is a bug and will be fixed in the next patch.

Personally I do not care how ZOS sells things like this, I will buy them if I like them. Either for crowns or gems.

In this case I'm thinking the same... in this case the animation is too short to even make a visual difference, no matter what color it would be. Not worth it.

This is definitely not worth the price. What a shame.
