Ok, final post for now about plars;

1. Buff Jabs' damage. Maybe that'll cause problems in PvE, but templar could use some more power anyways, and Jabs is a melee spammable that can be reduced by Major Evasion
2. Make the snare uncleansable. Not sure if that's too OP, but it would increase the spammable's effectiveness in PvP and remove the issues of it's interactions with Mara's
3. Make Backlash more powerful. My idea would be to make Backash's damage increase by a % amount every time you dealt DoT (per tick of each of your Dot's essentially) to a cap of like 200%-300% (don't @ me on the numbers, just make it hit as hard as Blastbones or about that power-level). But even if that ideas is ignored, Backlash needs a buff.

If these changes were implemented, would you enjoy the class and come back to it?

    Agree with 1 and 3, both of those skills are objectively underperforming in PVP and PVE. I wouldn't want to add or enhance any snares though.

    Backlash could definitely use some help.

    Would reverting the nerfs, but removing the bug it had where it could be essentially stacked infinitely if recast right as the previous cast ended be enough to fix it?
    This way it would be as strong as it used to be, but no longer able to be abused by stacking multiples to essentially 1 shot people with no counter play.

    All they have to do is increase the cap on damage you can get from Backlash from 200% to 300% and make it harder than it is now to fill that ability with damage to reach that full 300%.

    Reaching that full damage number should be difficult but rewarding.

    No for 2. Just like there should never have been a pull that does not grant CC immunity on Rush of Agony; there should not be an unpurgeable enemy snare. And it wouldn't help because it's not getting purged to cause the heal; it's being refreshed and that's enough for Maras to trigger off version that expired.

    I don't think that this would work. It does seem to be that battle spirit is double dipping on the ability so at best; your solution would mean it's only 1.5 times battle spirit reduction so still reduced more than others by 50%. Then the templar also has to do that much more damage to get there, and it won't happen. It's already hard to fill, or was before in PvP as it's the only ability that hit squishy targets even harder than needed, but build up could be evaded or absorbed. It only counted 20% of your damage done before.

    Meanwhile; PvE will be getting huge bursts way out of scope

    I primarily care about not looking foolish swinging around a shovel. The rest would just be dessert.

    I have no idea if it’s double dipping or not, but it would be a sound fix, the problem with Backlash that warranted the nerf was how easy it was to hit maximum value, this would make it average out at less than 300% but still allow for the possibility of burst like before.

    Also, Templar is behind other classes in PvE damage so the added 6000-10,000 damage would be a blessing well received.
