My PC is Authorized for this Account - Asking for Access Code, why?

I never needed and access code before, and now all a sudden it is asking for access code. No email is being sent to give me an access code either. It's a loop with a key component missing: there's no obvious solution without having to post here for help. What is going on here?

My email is still the same on the account. Also, the account management site doesn't show the Account Summary anymore. You can only use the left-hand side for its options. Very odd this all happening out of nowhere.

Nothing on my PC has changed, I have not logged in on any other PC, and I literally logged into the account today a couple times before it started giving me this issue randomly.

    They made some changes to increase security because of an uptake in brute force login attacks.

    If you don't get an email from ZOS with the code, it likely means you typed your password wrong. Try again.

    Well, that is incorrect because I just logged right now with the same password without requiring an access code (for whatever reason it's not asking for one now).

    None of this is making any sense. It said I needed access code last night out of nowhere when I didn't need one at all for days. Then I wake up and now it doesn't require one again.

    There are definitely errors happening on their end, not mine.

    Also, the Account Summary in the account management has been broken for me for like a week. I just reported it this morning and now all a sudden it's working again. They got some weird stuff going on, and its confusing as heck.

    when i get that popup i just shut down the game and launcher and try again, that's worked the few times it's happened to me. i have never gotten the email when i bothered to try. shameful.
