I'm skipping this event. I don't even care about the tickets, I just hate the stress of going to different zones with two accounts.

I hate zone events that require you to kill delve or dungeon bosses because they're dead before you even have a chance to get a hit in and can't loot.

I deal with zone events, with MASSES of players, the same as Anchors in the Alik'r; just continually throw area of effect attacks. The folks with truly "hi-speed internet" will out gun you on individual attacks, but AoE at least touches everybody.

You do know you do not have to make X% of damage but just to be present to get credit from dragon kill?

LOL, yeah, sort of. You need to get at least ONE shot in on the bad guy in any killer quest or you get no credit. I prefer to be a "contributing member" of the group. No matter how small a contribution my wimpy character may make...

This. Is. The biggest [snip]… I've ever seen in an MMO event.

Sorry Zenimax. I can not imagine doing badly planned event formulas like this in future anymore.

Getting dragon daily done, especially in Northen Elsweyr, is extremely frustrating. It takes forewer for dragons to respawn. Then it takes forewer to ride from wayshrine to the dragon. In many cases you are blocked by terrain and have to know the one correct route around to get there, which often takes you round and round the dragon - can hear it, can see it, can't get to it. Often the dragon is dead before you make it.

Southern Elsweyr is (arguably) faster on respawn and not as terrible with how far you have to ride. But unless your internet is fast, your mount fully upgraded and you know the exact fastest route to each landing spot it will be no fun either. There is like fifty people going for the dragon every time and even if everyone takes of in gigant zerg, only those in front are able to get at least one hit in to count as kill for daily. Stuff like going around tree from wrong side, or those few extra seconds in loadscreen will cost you the kill.

Why wasn't anything adjusted for the event is anyone's guess ...

When "the armies" are out in force, which is EVERY event, the first thing I hit the target with is an area of effect attack. It will cause some damage and give credit for the event. Although you may still get screwed on goodies from the killed boss you will get the "prize package", which invariably holds better goodies anyway.
