Couldn't get Twitch drop because I had to work

Uh missed the live... At work. Why in the middle of the day?

As others have said, it's fairly manageable to leave it running on either your home computer or your phone.

That being said, I don't see why they can't also do a rerun of the stream with drops for the US during non-business hours. It would be a nice gesture for the many, many ESO players who are, you know, middle-aged.

I get wanting to actually do the live show during work hours; ZOS employees have lives outside of work, too. But surely it should be technically feasible to set a rerun for drops?

👀 go to bathroom next time. Turn twitch on and mute stream

    That's what I did.

If you missed any livestreams to my best knowledge you can always check the Elderscrolls website and Youtube to get information.
I really wanted that summon emote but as I understand it I had to watch the livestream in order to get it. Unfortunately, I had to work during the stream so I missed it. It feels unfair and punishing to people with day jobs.
I respect that you focused on your job. Also don't feel bad, I didn't get the emote either. I don't even have a Twitch TV account :D .

I went back and watched them after I got off work. :) They upload them to YouTube right away.

Thank you for making the emote (particularly) available during international timezone recaps.

If you missed the emote through Twitch Drops during the Global Reveal, you can watch any of the international recap streams (schedule is here) or even ESO Live this afternoon at 4pm ET for another chance to earn it.

Actually, got to watch the stream event this year on the 25th live. Just happened to have the day off by luck. Which means I got drops this time. Know in years past I have missed certain drops because of work/life. It is so nice to see you add the option to earn the drops in other streams. Kudos, nicely done. Hope the trend continues. Thanks again.

    Stay safe :)

How about giving the drop for just watching the stream whenever? Doesn't that accomplish their goals?

I can easily run the stream on my personal system while I am at work, but I usually forget about them.

I just saw this message now. Maybe I can get the emote by watching the Aussie recap on Jan 31 at 3am. 😭

So this is what the global reruns do - they are held at all sorts of different hours because they are for audiences in different parts of the world. There was one running at 9:30pm Eastern, for example.

One of the issues is that they did not say anywhere in the official information that the recaps would have the same drops, and they didn’t mention it until two days after the global reveal, so people couldn’t plan accordingly.

Well, yes... and because they are global reruns, they are quite rightly in other languages than English. Which is why I said for the US audience (which is the largest), it would be a nice gesture to just rerun the original program with a chance to get drops, so that you don't have to watch, say, a rerun with no drops to get the information, and then also run, like, a German program that you don't understand just to get the drops.

Like I said, there are workarounds, but it would be thoughtful to not make a large set of players have to jump through all of those hoops.

But for the information of the original stream you don't need to listen to a stream that's not in English. Just watch the original stream, it's still there. You would only need to "watch" a different stream for the drop, not the stream's content. For this you can have the stream in question open in a muted tab.

I feel your pain. As an Aussie we always have to get up at 2 -3 am to watch these reveals. Would be nice if they just played it on a loop for 12 - 24 hrs and give everyone around the world a chance for these drops.

I never get a Twitchdrop, because I´m not 7 years old, therefore I dont have a Twitchaccount or Twitch installed.

Bruh twitch has drops for so many games. And its easy to create a acc, link, and open a vid in the background while you afk

But then when I used the Drop everyone would know I opened Twitch. Thats embarassing.

Wait, if you are too young for Twitch, aren't you too young for ESO too? And Twitch is 13+, not 7+, IIRC.

Too old my friend, way too old. [snip]

This! Why can’t it just be looped for x amount of hours so that people can tune in to watch whenever and Bethesda still gets “live” viewers instead of videos being watched?
