Hi all, we'll have some info on events in the coming weeks. We'll post about them on our social handles and here on the forum once that info is ready to share.
Again, what are the social handles? Many of us no longer use twitter, and I’m unsure of where, other than here on your official forum, these things will be announced.

I have used these, they're linked on the main page:

I'm wondering though if I'm the only one who finds it a bit strange to be hinted at social media for information instead of just having every neccessary announcement on ESO's official website? Also, I'm not sure if it's, uhm, beneficial. Social media can be such a cesspit sometimes. There are always user comments that make me wonder how these people even manage to put on their pants without help. I'm not talking about foreign language issues or just "normal" colloquial language of course, but some postings contain nothing more than crude insults, bare nonsense, or every second word is either a swearword or "lol"... It always makes me cringe a bit if I think I might be encountering these types in-game, so it doesn't really leave the best impression, to be honest.
As far as I'm concerned, the FIRST point of contact for info should be THIS forum.
I refuse to add clicks to any company's "social media" account.

I totally agree! I don't have any "social network" accounts (only a few accounts in smaller forums related to my hobbies) and taking a look at twitter always feels like a cultural shock to me. I do it only rarely, like in this case where I was so curious if there's any news about the new ESO chapter, but really, each time it ends with me closing the browser tab and wondering whether some of these comments were written by aggressive apes or something... It's not exactly appealing to think these people are part of the playerbase.

First of all, the news should get to the official website and forum. I'm not going to go back to the trash can with Instagram and facebook sticker on it because of this
This is why we appreciate you @ZOS_KevinFirst of all, the news should get to the official website and forum. I'm not going to go back to the trash can with Instagram and facebook sticker on it because of this
Just for clarity here, all of our news is posted to the website first before it goes anywhere else. I also post those news articles here on the forum. Under the News and Website article section.
