Ornate item achievement...I think it's bugged for me...

So, I went through the tutorial and when I got to town I opened up all my pre order items. I got an achievement for looting an ornate item...
Well, I deleted that character because I didn't like how he looked. I came back with the same name but now I can't get that achievement. I have looted ornate items on the battlefield and still no achievement pop.
Ideas?
