Can we please for the love of all that is holy get the group limit expenaded back up to 24 players, at least outside Cyro?
I am sick and tired of having to orgnise two groups just to fit 20 people into a single event, it makes things a headache half the time and the other half things go so bad we give up on trying our little community events all together

    And even inside Cyrodil 12 man groups pretty much killed off pug groups.
    But outside of Cyrodil 24 man groups it was mostly useful for social events.

    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    instead of limiting heals i think we should multiply heals if you already have a heal on you i think that would be good for the servers.

    There should be three types of groups, normal groups (4 players, dungeon content) trial groups (12 players), then raid sized groups (72 players).

    if the devs want communities within their game to flourish they need to think large scale.

    i think 24-36 is a better max cap, once you start getting more than that the UI will become a nightmare since half of your screen would be hp bars of groupmates

    Then you don't get to see the bars of everyone in the raid, or you change the UI so that a raid is made up of several groups who can only see the HP of the people in their groups. That way you still have a need for X amount of healers per group.

    Yeah, cyrodiil was alot more fun when it was 24 man groups, both for organised groups and pugs.

    Well, any performance benefits of smaller groups during the live server Cyrodiil tests were declared negligible. And this is also the official post that says that removing cross healing "gave no appreciable gains towards performance improvements."

    Also worth noting: they made the groups smaller at the same time they introduced companions, who would at that point have the ability to become NPC group members. And we know that companions can cause performance issues, which is why they said they were banned from visibility in Fargrave.
