My problem was that I'd often lose "mouse freelook" or whatever it's called-- where moving the mouse changes the camera angle. What I do is turn off the mouse, turn it back on, and reconnect with it in the Mac System Settings. Works like a charm for me. I didn't realize there was a recent fix related to the keyboard and mouse, but I do think it's happening less.
