I totally agree, and having them unintentionally switching slots has been an increasing problem recently.

I haven't had them switch wheels but I would get really annoyed if they did.
I use only the original wheel, I have no use for the others so a toggle to turn them off would be great! 💕

But in the current form I don't see them as advantage, but as a setback.

Can consoles not? On PC (w/o addons), the main wheel still acts as it did before so we can still slot emotes/mementos/whatever.
The additional wheels are just for those specifically, but the main can do anything.
For anyone on PC, there is an addon that will disable wheel switching in combat to prevent this bug: https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info3387-NoM0RStickyWheels.html

I've had them switch several times and I can't switch it back while in combat. I've tried and it just won't do it. And then when I am finally able to switch it back the potion never shows up under Q until I take them completely off of the wheel and place them back on again.
I will never use these wheels and should not be forced to, especially when they have gotten my character killed several times now because I couldn't use my potion.
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin Can this issue please be looked into?

Yep on console the main wheel can still hold whatever. I've never had the game flip to another wheel without effort, as on console you select the wheel and the item but it doesnt then remain on that wheel

Sorry I mistyped that. I meant 'bringing up' the menu again. It has something to do with the new extra wheels they added. If you perform some action while the quickslot menu is open and you change wheels at the same time (which tends to happen because the menu is sooooo slow to respond to inputs and you often need to move around in fights which uses the same keys as swapping quickslot wheels) then it gets stuck open. I find I can fix it by bringing the quickslot menu up again and then just selecting what I wanted the first time I tried to do it.
EDIT: actually I realized that swapping quickslot menus uses the left and right mouse buttons. Just shows how much I actually use the thing. Anyway, the issue is still the same. The menu gets stuck open and you have to bring it up again to get it to close.
