Greetings, as we've removed a few non-constructive comments, please remember that while it’s all right to disagree or even debate with each other, provoking conflict, baiting, inciting, mocking, etc. is never acceptable in the official The Elder Scrolls Online community. It's bizarre to see so many people spend their time standing around staring at their companions instead of actually playing the game.

How do you know they are not playing? They may be playing a game of ToT. Or they may be involved in a guild activity such as an auction. Or they may be in a queue for a dungeon or battleground. Or they may just be chatting with a friend.

All of these are playing the game.

i honestly never really looked that hard into any of the companions faces, and i turn the commenting down to the lowest setting so i dont hear them frequently

they do a good job as a combat pet though, which is why i keep them around, more dmg/heal/tank is better than none

(if your wondering yes i absolutely consider them just a pet to deal extra dmg that i can customize and dont take up bar slots lol)

If you don't want to hear them at all, Shut Yer Trap is a great addon!

Seriously, that smile she has is exactly what I would expect of someone eating my face .....and she does talk about "sweets" a LOT ... we have no idea of what she considers sweet... some things are referred to as "sweetmeats" in history, and cannibals are sometimes referenced as "eating that sweet meat"....

Just look at that face, and you will wonder if you are going to wake up staked out, and her getting the fire going.....

Then again, my girlfriend wants to go see the movie Smile ...... Isobel would fit right in, there.

It appears you're spending too much time thinking about the game and not enough time playing the game.

    ;)

Because they noticed that her face is creepy? Seriously? I think this was a funny post, just having a laugh at her creepy face, no need to get judgemental. o.O I am really unsure as to what "thinking too much about the game" really is tbh.

they already have the option in the system, they just need to actually add an option for "none" instead of "minimal" being the lowest lol

Honestly, left it on that screen, as I was going to use the restroom..... over 50, and that is a thing.
    Noticed when I came back......

At least she doesn't say, "Doing something with magicky" I don't know why but that line/the word "magicky" annoys me so much, it's too twee or something.

The facial expressions are thrown off a little by morrow eyebrows happens in real life also depending on eye secture, eyebrows and lashes She just doesn't have a perfect face and is always excited whichh can lead to eyes seeming larger and so on

She is one of the most real npcs iin the games cause she is super flawed from being a dork to her imperfect face.

I like Isobel actually, but it would be the biggest plot twist in ESO's history if she turned out to be Meridia's agent/spy and knew what became of Darien.

A lot of the NPCs in the game end up with a very creepy, over exaggerated smile if you let them finish dialogue and then wait before you either proceed or close the window. It’s just a weird animation quirk I think.

Yeah, Isobel is definitely not alone in this. Tons of NPCs I noticed have weird creepy smiles... Elder Scrolls NPCs are known for creepy smiles, just look at Oblivion....

Like any self-respecting knight, Isobel needs a full visored helm to protect her head and face. ;)

She's my favorite companion; aside from the weird eyebrows they gave her. She doesn't complain as much as Mirri and is generally positive.

Mirri is more ironic and sarcastic in her comments than actually complaining

Omg, yes. That single line is enough to make me turn the sound off. Who thought that was a good idea?? She is a mage herself, not a 4 year old.

I agree -- also, when she goes from street kid to suddenly being more competent than any CP 3600 sorcerer in the game.... and then, back to asking if "sorcering" is a word
