Forum Showing My Comment As A “New” Comment?

Not sure where to post this when it has to do with the forum website, but…

99% of the time, I use the forums on my phone. iOS using the Edge browser.
I took a break from the game for a couple months, so I wasn’t visiting the forums either.
Since I’ve come back, the “new” alert stamp seems bugged.

In the past, when someone else replied to a post, it would bold the “1 new” bit under the post’s title. Now, after I reply to a post, it does it.
Causing me to have to go back into the post to clear the alert of my own reply. It’s annoying as heck.

Anyone else experiencing this?

For example, my last comment on this very post. With some other threads greyed out as read for reference.

See where it says this thread has a new comment? It’s the one I just made to take the screenshot. It shouldn’t be notifying us of our own comments.

Just to confirm a few things, this behavior is only happening in iOS on the Edge browser?

Does it happen on any other mobile browsers?

I use the Chrome browser on my Android and the same thing happens.

I only use the Edge browser on my iPhone, so I can’t speak to others. I never use the forum on my PC either because I like how the forum is displayed on mobile. But from the looks of things, seems like it’s a pretty common issue.

Yes, been this way for a while. Never thought to mention it. I have just been opening the thread to clear it. Figured it was a Vanilla Forums bug and that eventually the introduction of some other bug would inadvertently fix it.

PC Firefox.
