So since templar has been nerfed to the ground and i don't play it anymore, and the radical changes every 3-4 months, i considered just changing the class, but upon checking I don't see a class change option anywhere.

    Why?

My Magplar is borderline invincible, and can both out damage AND out heal almost any other class. Not sure where you are feeling nerfed into the ground.

That being said, I don't think they have ever offered a class change. I've seen race and appearance changes, bot not class changes.

    Just an idea.

Remove the fact that classes are locked. You can switch between all classes, but each have its own progression.

I know it’s not very RP, but I think it could work because:

    1. It’s optional to change class
    2. You would need to level up and redistribute points everytime you switch class.

I don't want to grind again. Grinding all that stuff is soul killing. Remember what Rick said...

Would you be willing to pay roughly $300 for this token? Because that's about how much ZOS would be losing in revenue per character. One of the biggest sources of revenue for ZOS comes from players creating new characters and wanting to upgrade them with Crown Store items... Skyshards, skills, mount upgrades, armories, etc. All the things that aren't account bound. By adding a class change token, they would lose a LOT of money and would have to make up for it in the cost of the class change token itself.

They'd have to price it at a reasonable price people would buy it for. I don't think many would buy it for the price you suggested but if it was the same cost as an alliance or race change token I reckon they'd make regular sales. By your logic though ZOS is losing revenue when people gather skyshards manually or login daily for horse riding training.

I've maxed the crafting and mount on 8 characters. I don't want any more new characters. Please - we need a class change token. Besides, i think that would be incentive to keep the completionists if they made it so that returning to a previous class would pick up where you left off. I know I'd spend at least a year maxing out every class on every character. Why wouldn't they want to sell me 48 class change tokens?

I'm against a class change token for various reasons, a more detailed response is in this other thread about class change tokens:

I need a Class change token bad. Unhappy with 2 character Class choices, since several years. Would love to change. Noooot possible....umh agh. Soooo I don´t play much with both anymore. Which is sad.

Make sure you have read the latest confirmation from ZOS this week that this isn't going to happen. You'll find it in the other current threads on this, or through the Dev Tracker.

My main on console was a nightblade. Stam, to begin with, all those years ago. Since it was a difficult class to excel at (and I was told magblade was even more difficult), I often wished I could make her a sorc. But, she had the most achievements, so I didn't want to change to another. And I had I think 9 or 10 other characters that I could play if I wanted to - although, apart from a magsorc, who got my first Flawless Conqueror, all the others were pretty much just used for daily writs.
Then I moved to PC in 2021. My main is now a sorc. I had 5 other characters, one of each class, that I spent time on levelling, getting lorebooks and skyshards and sufficient skill points, so that if I want to play any of them, I can - aside from some minor skill levelling.
Thing is, though, since my Oceanic guild died, those alts are now all just writ runners, apart from a NB who does one IC daily and some stealing for moneymaking purposes. I made another yesterday, just for writs - with the upcoming Jubilee in mind.
And while I like that my main is a sorc, sometimes I get a bit bored with that playstyle. So I would definitely purchase a class change token for her. Variety being the spice of blah blah blah and all that.

Not planned for now, doesn’t mean never. However, I don’t understand since it had been asked in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, …, 2021, 2022 and now 2023. ZOS must be blind to not see that it’s a requested feature that could bring a lot of players back. I would play a lot more if I was able to change class.

Equally, after the number of answers ZOS have given to this request players must be deaf not to have heard the message that it isn't going to happen.
