I'm not saying they should change the animation for piercing javelin, that would be just as horrible as the change to puncturing strikes. It's just that both these templar skills use the same spear just in a different way. So why change the templar class identifying spear in one situation but not the other? Piercing javelin is just the thrown version of the same spear as is used for puncturing strikes....or at least it should be.
They really just need to change the puncturing strikes animation back to the original templar spear as opposed to the nighthollow stave flailing around, and just change the timing of it.
I just can't get over the idea that templars are now using a glowing version of a nighthollow stave as a spear for one of their class identifying skill animations. Why? Just why? The change doesn't even fit with the other class identifying skill animations now.

Please guys, consider reverting the animation change made to jabs, and just adjust the timing of the jabs. At least think about how the templar class identity was perverted by using a nighthollow stave as a templar spear.
At this point do you guys think anyone with sway at ZOS will listen to the majority opinion of the templar playerbase and consider pushing to revert or adjust jabs after U35?
Yeah, javelin remaining the same, Isobel having the old animation, guards having old skills, vampiric motif chosen for a Templar class, all of this gives me a sloppy vibe from the dev team, ngl.
