Serious issue with the "reward" for the Dark Heart of Skyrim Celebration

Last time with the pink power ranger armor, it was already quite bad, BUT THIS TIME !
I'm out of word about these, that's seriously the most bland/generic/flat armor i've seen in an MMO.
Not a single detail, not even a small engraving, a little necklace, something, just plain gray 122p texture.
Even the low level starting armor are better and more detailed than this! how?
Keep in mind that it's supposed to be a REWARD something you're supposed to spend 5 tickets for each piece!?
It looks like it was taken from somewhere from canceled models, anything looks better!
What's going on, first the Daggerfall Paladin Costume and now this?

That pink power ranger outfit is awful, it just doesn't belong at all - talk about breaking immersion.

I like it. looks realistic and grounded in reality while still saying mage motif. not everything has to be death spikes and stick out.

At least it doesn't have floating flaps like the "paladin" costume.

I don't get it, does it feature a belt buckle or the breton buckle we see is from the outfit?

I think the lighting and mix of original colors don't do it justice. If it's made of outfit pages, I like it, because I can think of ways to change certain pieces.

Lastly, I don't understand why it features that strip of plate on the chest. It doesn't even cover the heart.

I really like this costume. Not everything needs to be over-the-top. Many people have been asking for plainer clothing, and we rarely get such. This costume is perfect, not like one less edgy over the top power-rangers costume will harm people who like that stuff.

Disagree. Like this a lot - especially the shoulders which are very unassuming. I don’t always want big statement shoulders.

I think it has potential. The ridiculous over the top armour gets tiresome, so it is a nice change to see clothing that you can imagine actually being able to function in.

You don't have to get to the death spikes section to build a great armor, here it lacks details.
You're saying it's realistic? Grounded in reality? Funny
We're talking about a Saarthal scholar here, let's talk realism then.
Do you think a Scholar living in Skyrim would wear such thin and clean cloth?
    And where's the weathering?
    A belt with potion?
    A pouch for Scrolls?
Some scratch of being through adventure?
A "Realistic" look would be more close to the graybeard cloth from Skyrim.
Something more practical, made to whistand extrem cold, made with local things likes fur or heavy fabric.

Unless I am doing something wrong, always possible, if you have two daggers (or any DW weapons I suppose) they float badly when sheathed with this outfit. That may be a bug, but lately I don't feel much motivation to report bugs. I don't think they bother with bugs like that, or much of anything we report.

The outfit style does not have belt at all.

Dude I very simple tastes too. I did take a hard look at this chest piece, if it was just a simple thigh length jacket with a shirt under it I'd be fine with it.

But that metal plate on the chest above the breasts absolutely killed it, it's just pointless over designed fluff that ruins the whole piece.

And the other pieces- the feet, hands, hood, and shoulders... none of it interests me. The hood is not bad but I probably know 10 hood designs already that are as good if not better.

Paladin is awesome, because I can play fun games and skip some boring ticket grind until that monstrosity's quarter is over.
This new outfit is ok. Clean and simple. Maybe even good, depends on how well it dyes.

That's really poor looking for something that rewards in-game effort.
I'm not looking for big, brash, but even the less ostentatious designs can have better quality textures, some intricate detail in the stitchwork. Perhaps some nordic runes in the trim, or ragged edges on the hems, to indicate wear out in the field, just... something. This looks forgettably bland and low effort.

I'm also quite sick of shiny cloth. Just about all of the rare dyes end up making cloth textures shiny and cheap, if the texture is already shiny it is harder to mute even with the more common dyes.

I really liked how utterly different the Second Seed outfit style was from others, and not just in style, but it was asymmetrical as well. The cloth fabric was unique, and the dress being off-centred was a nice change from the identical breeches we have in 85% of the game. Why can't we have more outside-the-box approach to outfits? Just another wasted opportunity to show off some design innovation.

The "pink power ranger" armor actually has a reason for being that color, as the first fragment for it is called "Blessed Rubedite Metal Enamel."

They didn't have to choose to make a suit of armor using a metal that the developers made up for the sake of having 10 colour coded tiers of equipment, even though they ultimately made 4 of those tiers mostly obsolete with changes to the Champion System.

When it comes to bright colours I think I'd like bit more for clothing (sometimes) and less for metal and leather. There are equipment rank dye patterns that offer this to be fair.

I'm not super pumped for this style, but I think it looks good. It's magey/scholarly, but without a robe. Some unique or cool details would make it stand out better.

The difference between this and the paladin costume is that completing the paladin costume takes 3 months and, what, 45 tickets?

It's called "Rubedite", though, not "Pinkedite". Unless Rubedite changes its colour to pink when being blessed.

It doesn't look like metal at all. Or even enamel.
It looks like molded or 3D-printed plastic for LARPing purposes.

    ---
The Saarthal clothing would be fine if not for this very silly metal plate. The shoes are uninspired, and the texture lacks detail, but hey, no flaps, that's progress.
At this point, they should make a RL version of the outfits (they could even use molded plastic...) and have some people run around for a while, too weed out all the nonsense designs, like wearing a metal plate across the collar bones.
