Per the u36 combat preview “This update won’t have any sweeping changes or themes; instead, the main focus is on bug fixing, as well as a few adjustments to targeted abilities, sets, and passives based on community feedback”
Based on what feedback? Wardens don’t want to be pigeon holed into playing frost staff. And plars literally got nothing but dps nerfs last patch and are practically unseen in pvp (probably pve too? Idk I’m not a pver) and now once again are getting a dps nerf. If I look at the plar feedback thread, there are soooo many comments asking for illuminate and prism to be combined into one passive. How that slipped by development, I have no clue
While I cannot speak for warden pve (I already know it’s pretty bad) they are at least good in pvp, and the crit dmg change will be helpful there at least. But FROST STAFF??? If you want the classes magic identity to be tied to frost, give them more frost damage abilities. Giving a passive that only increases damage done while using an ability isn’t exactly stam friendly, and it also doesn’t make much sense from a balance perspective. Class balance should be done internally, meaning without taking sets, guild skills, and weapon skills into account. Weapon skills are suppose to be playstyle enablers, NOT class enablers
