This is just a pointless mythic that has really limited usage in pve, I can see it being used on a healer in some rare fights but it is certainly a set that will break pvp once again. Ballgroups are already a problem exploiting heal stacking and now with this new mythic there is nothing holding +3 player standing among +50 player of the opposite faction and hold perma block spam heals and wait until they have their ultimate ready. Ignoring ball groups were the only viable option to deal with them for casual players but instead of fixing this issue Zos just gave unfair ball groups another massive advantage.
So I am asking what is the point of this set, it will be rarely used in pve yet it will ruin pvp once again, is this just another mythic people will farm and exploit until it is nerfed.

    Hopefully this doesn't stack.

Also, the animation on it is way too flashy and has the potential to cause seizures if someone spam taps block. It will 100% be used to troll population centers and PVP fights, tanking the fps, if the animation isn't touched.

It doesn't really matter if it stacks, direct damage isn't what kills tanks and block mitigation isn't what makes them tanky. 30% on a tank is about 6% after diminishing returns which is pretty crap, and that's not even including diminishing returns from other sources of mitigation. You're way better off running something that heals you.

I can't see ball groups doing some weird tank strat with this when Snow Treaders is still so overtuned.

It could be useful as a selfish set in pve if it affected yourself as well. But this way... meh.

Someone should test it to see if it has any stealth target caps (as most items do).

I know that it says "all allies" but it wouldn't be the first time that a tooltip provides misleading information.

i think there is also a hard cap on block mitigation too, something like 90-95% (ive had a friend on a sorc tank who was able to hit like 112% block mitigation according to the "advanced stats" in the games character sheet, but he could still take dmg)

it's not making the tank wearing it tanky, it's making others around him tanky for a one piece bonus. the set doubling down with hp recovery means it's even harder to kill someone that holds lt.

This set will 100% be used in objective bgs and for troll groups in pvp.

the hp recovery is only applied to allies

this mythic does effectively nothing for the wielder at all, gives allies extra block mitigation and health recovery while you are blocking, but at a personal cost of not moving while blocking

so in pvp, you would have to have allies nearby to have this mythic do anything, and even then the hp recovery is halved in pvp, so it would only be giving about 475 health recovery after battle spirit

yes, so it makes allies a lot tankier while holding an area. So, holding an objective in battlegrounds during a battleground event as a hypothetical. no need to move when the point is to stand your ground.

Sounds like an exciting and engaging event to me, everyone holding block and not dying.

Does the health recovery actually stack from multiple wearers? Because that would be inconsistent with every other group buff set.

950 health recovery is like half a hot, which isn't bad for a one piece but isn't game breaking and won't make tanks with 3k+ battalion defender tooltips much tankier than they already are.

Seems like it's best use case would be in a BG premade on a support setup, as non-tanks could make better use of the block mitigation to counter ult dumps or something.
