Yes it was from yesterday. They only mentioned how funny it sounded when it was speaking in a group chat. So don't want to hear that mess.

Watched the Twitch show and had a question. Will there be an option to turn OFF any text to speech function? I can't be the only one that doesn't want to hear all of that. Was super sad to see some of the changes in the game. Please stick to the lore.

I saw a video on Reddit several days ago showing the horrors of Console VC: random music blasted through the microphone, racial slurs being yelled repeatedly, etc.
It would be WAY worse if it were integrated for PC.

Not very nice to complain about an accessibility feature - something to help those who struggle to read the text.

I, personally, don't want them to stick to the lore EVER if it'd ruin a gameplay feature, but since a few people love the lore I'd never go out of my way to complain 'oh no, they're adding more story instead of content to play' as it'd ruin the game for those who love the lore.

Wasn't a complaint. I personally don't like in game chat and text readers. You would think if they added this then they would have the foresight to understand there needs to be an option to turn it off. But it doesn't hurt to express ones opinion of a coming addition to the game. I personally struggle with text but I don't want to listen to a reader while I am playing. Just my preference. I myself am disabled so I am all for adding things to help those that want/need them. Just make sure there are on/off options is all I am asking.

Can't wait to hear sales and guild adverts in robot voice.
I think it's a great accessibility tool for people who need it. Unfortunately it also feels like something that will get abused a lot, too.
I don't understand why ZOS would implement a text-to-speech when they could just very well ADD A VOICE chat option..
Why ZOS?
