rofl, so they removed a beloved templar animation... but let us buy different animations for picking up a flower?

oh come on, my first thought on this was: "that timing is soooo bad, it must be a troll"

Remember when QoL things were amazing. Homestead, outfit stations, stickerbook? Not sure what these are but unless they’re adding new styles/skins for sorc/warden, I can’t say I’m excited about any of this.

Hideable pets is going to be amazing and honestly, given how heavy the game is with the Crown Store/Crates and the cosmetics from that, I'm surprised ZOS is doing it.

    Target Markers seems...Cool, I guess.

Customized Actions being listed by ZOS in this was a little sketch, to be honest. It was absolutely them just padding the numbers because overall this is a small amount of QOL stuff.

Regarding housing it's due to add guild hall support, accessing the list of public houses of a friend or guild mate for visits (I know there is an addon), setting favorite houses, so I don't need to scroll down for houses that begin with S or T, free teleport from houses to wayshrines, etc.

I like the new animations idea, but a much better use would be a new system to change the appearance of our class and weapon skill animations. There could be craftable glyphs or scrolls for that. I am sure that many people would love to create a dark templar, fire sorc, blue fire dk, and so on. Having an new animation for farming resources is not so interesting, but I hope it's just the tip of the iceberg.

Tbh that is tough call to make, as I like all of it.

      - Hide pets - can be the most impactful & noticeable, so it is probably the most welcome of all QoL improvements.
      - Customized Actions - has huge potential, but what they showed was... less than impressive.
^ But it is a good way to change some aspects of the game. For example - if they are able to change animations to different ones, then maybe we can get for example different swimming animation for Argonians or maybe even different vamp or ww models & animations.
      - Text-to-Speech for the Chat window - don't know what to think about that. Sounds more like something like "accessibility" thing, which is always good, but might as well be something annoying & used for trolling or something.
      - Armory Stations in Cyrodiil and Imperial City - again, cool QoL improvement. But.... Lag in Cyro...
^ As long as it is a "factor" we need to take into account when making a PvP builds - then it does not matter as it won't make people to start playing PvP again.

Yeah these are not quality of life features.... adding the Armory was a QOL, adding the option to access the Armory from PvP locations is a after thought.

The potential to tailor the aesthetics of one's character to an even greater degree is on the horizon. I have great hope that this is the proper (warden bear recolor) first step to making our characters uniquely ours, at least in terms of aesthetics.

      • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
      • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
      • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
      • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

      I voted “none”.

I don’t care about houses or hiding pets. Armory stations should be out of the PVP zone. We have a long enough queue without people messing with build stuff and not fighting. Seriously, the queue was up to 60 yesterday, this is a terrible idea. Get out if you want to mess with your build and let someone else in who wants to fight.

Another sign the Devs don’t play their own game.

      PS: fix magsorc:

While nice I would prefer to have fixes to existing bugs and flaws that have persisted for years. While these features are nice I will not consider them QOL items until they have been proven to work and are bug free. Until then... we will see.

There were several QoL features introduced in today's livestream, and I wonder what your favorite ones are. If there are multiple ones that you like, answer the poll with the one you like the most.

And please keep everything on the topic of the QoL features, not the controversial changes over the last year.

I didn't see any mention in U36 about reverting or at least mitigating some of the mistakes that were forced on us with U35.
