Error 302

Crazybrandonian
Unable to install the game, I've downloaded the game 6 times now and am still unable to install it because of this error message.

List of things I've tried

Uninstalling + rebooting
Deleting hidden folders @ c:\programdata
Changing something in usersettings to 0 (can't remember what, was hub something or other)
Tried installing it on 3 different hard drives
Tried deleting the installer and redownloading it in case it was that causing the error
Tried running it as Administrator
Tried adding exceptions for it to every firewall + anti virus I have
Tried turning off all my anti virus

Nothing works, about an hour away from demanding a refund.

    Hi Crazybrandonian,

We really appreciate your patience with your issue.

We'd like to put your computers into selective startup mode. This will turn off the startup programs, and most of the services that the computer doesn't need to run. Let's give the following a try:
    1. Click Start, and type msconfig on the search box
    2. Right click on the msconfig.exe program and choose Run as administrator
    3. To place your computer into selective start up:
→ On the General Tab at the top, click on the Selective startup radio button
      → Uncheck "Load startup items"
    4. Click on the Services tab at the top
→ On the Services tab check the Hide all Microsoft services check box at the bottom
    5. Click the Disable all button at the bottom
    6. Click Apply, then click OK
    7. Restart your computer

When your computer comes up you will be in Selective start up. Try the game again, and see if you have different results. Once you have tried the game, if everything works fine, then one of the service or startup programs was causing the issues you were seeing.

Could you please reply and let us know if this solved your issue?

Once you have finished this troubleshooting, you should turn selective startup back off. This is done by opening the msconfig window again, and selecting the Normal startup radio button. Click Apply, then click OK, and restart your computer again.

We appreciate your help and patience during this process.

320mb from completing the "applying patch" once the game download has finished I still received this error message. I've tried pressing the Repair button, will continue to keep you posted.

Got it installed now, still got a few errors while installing but after hitting repair a few times it did go through eventually.

Crazybrandonian, just curious, which process was it that caused it to fail?
    I'm having the same problem.

Im having the same problem after waiting 2 and a half days for it to download because the launcher doesn't use all of my bandwidth. Gonna try this solution. If I don't post an update, then I've given up trying.
