Yeah, the travel bug is an invisible UI error pop-up that you can’t get rid of, and as mentioned earlier you have to pull up your text screen using your two middle buttons simultaneously then type “/reloadui”
This works generally any time you have a severe in-game problem, during Whitestrake’s Mayhem I was in Cyrodiil unable to revive with zero UI on my screen and had to do the same process.
Maybe the UI "solution" should be added to the splash screen on loading the game, or on the travel screens between wayshrines.
Not having to quit out the game helps.
Or the developer could actually fix some bugs in their game. I can think of at least 20 right now that still exist and have for months to years. Pretty sad for a "reputable" developer and one now owned by Microsoft.
Of course they should fix the bugs, but if they are having problems finding and sorting it, the "temporary" solution should be available for all, rather than just the small minority that read forums.
On the other hand that would mean that they are acknowledging that there is a bug to start with.
Yes, thanks for reviving this thread. I have had this happen several times since the latest patch, it is not fixed, despite being mentioned in the patch notes as being fixed:

What I have found is that I haven't been locked out of skills, but definitely a delay until they start working. Once they are working, everything is back to normal. The delay is like 30 seconds long.
