This post is by no means a comment, critcism or complaint regarding ZOS's competence

This is a growing list of all major combat-related bugs (too many tooltip bugs to put in here) that I have seen since update 35 launched. Please feel free to contribute to this:

1. Maelstrom Destruction Staves not applying increased damage when switched to the other bar (Inconsistent behaviour with every other piece of arena weapons), making it useless in PvE builds at the moment.

    #2, Empower still affecting the middle tick of lightning and resto's channeled heavy's is not a bug. This is the intended behavior if you read the patch notes.

    This doesn't really create a medium weaving meta as was the original concern because the issue was mainly with the PVE meta inferno staff which is not affected. This was likely done to not significantly negatively affect the damage of lightning staves where it is spread out over the ticks of the channel. This is a good change as lightning saves are primarily used on non-meta heavy attack accessibility builds. Restricting this to only "fully" charged heavy attacks without affecting the middle would have been a significant damage loss unless the damage of the channeled attack was changed to be heavily back-loaded which would have effectively made them no different than an inferno staff.

    I didnt notice it previously.. corpses everywhere highlighting as though they can be absorbed.. but cant be and stay highlighted

    Hmm, we double checked this internally and the workaround mentioned in the patch notes appears to be working, until we have a chance to push out the real fix. Do you have more info on this?

    I must say that I am pleased with Empower change. I kind of figured they'd nerf everything except fully charged heavy attacks to avoid medium weaving meta, which would have left resto (good but non-meta for solo PvE) and lightning (good but non-meta for group PvE) in a really bad place. While I think there are too many nerfs to mid-tier players across this patch, the Empower change seems like one of the few bright spots for mid-tier PvE.

    Hmm, the oakensoul bug seems pretty annoying, especially in PVP or battlegrounds, where you're stuck in combat quite often.

    Did the extra damage from Empower on Solar Barrage ever get updated to be the full length of the skill, as stated in the tooltip, rather than falling off after the original duration of 8 seconds?

    The UI and CMX show the Empower buff, but the actual damage stops being buffed on the PTS.

    Right now, we're looking at potentially adding this into the next incremental patch, currently scheduled for the week of Sept 5.

    Whooaa... this would explain a lot. I made a new HA build and rotation for Templar capitalizing on Empower, but the numbers seemed lower than expected in my PTS testing. Perhpas this is culprit...

    Avarice of the Eldertide Daily quest in high isle still requires being completely out of group to complete and even to get boss kill credit, not just clicky's!

    It would be interesting to create a version of this list for the old bugs that U35 has not fixed, ie. if the Dungeon Finder is still kicking half the group to a weird purgatory status of both offline and logged on every other time the queue tries to port you in to the instance.

    Hope they fixerd magma incarnate too. The set wasn't able to proc when equipped with dressing room.

    I had to take a piece off and re-equip then the heal would activate it.

    Sad times if you are using hard to get set pieces, hey.

    It's also bad for grouped PvE because when you die and get resurrected, you can't re-equip the ring either.

    I hope the fix for that one comes quick. I’ve been working on several heavy attack Oakensoul PvE based builds for when this update hits console and it’ll be annoying to try and use these builds if I die at all on like….a boss fight or something. I’ll hit like a wet noodle for the rest of the fight. :(

    i mean on trials my blastbones doesn't create corpses so i can't use detonating siphon, but this happened before this update.

    May we PLEASE get the Eldertide Theurges bosses / quest [everything about this WB from the kill to the geodes to proximity to TIMER] fixed in one of these hotfixes? I have yet to be able to complete this WB since the release of High Isle. Stood around this evening for another 40 minutes to no avail.

    Thank you again for your responses to the earlier issues raised here.

    Could we please get a fix or a developer comment for Ritual of Retribution? That is a ground DoT that was extended to 20 seconds in week 1 of the PTS and never reverted, severely hindering its power in most actual content, since many bosses tend to move out of our ground DoTs. Recasting Ritual is even more harmful now given its halved tooltip and the increase to its ramping damage.

    Even in the 8.1.5 live notes, the developers state that ground DoTs will be between 10 and 15 seconds in deference to the fact that in actual content bosses do move and cause us to recast our ground AoEs. But Ritual remains 20 seconds long instead of 12 and has remained so despite weeks of bug reports and requests for an explanation.

    Could we please get a comment as to whether this is intended, and if so, why? This skill is now incredibly dependent on whether the target will sit in it for the full duration, which is not the case for many fights. Why has this skill seemingly been forgotten while other ground AoEs were reverted to shorter durations? If it's intentional, a comment stipulating to that with insight into why would be much appreciated.
