How did the update mess with your rotation?

I was doing on my necromancer
Blastbones > skull/scythe > lightweight trap 11.5 sec > Siphon 12sec > Boneyard Swap > 10sec Barswap Endless hail 14 sec > Skeleton archer 16 sec.
Now this rotation has issues for example i would preffer to have boneyard first, but i need a corpse for siphon, and skeleton archer and endless hail don't line up that well because endless says 14 secs but it feels like it lasts 12.
But the rotation worked.

Now on pts i have to do
Blastbones > skull/scythe > Skeleton archer 20sec > Siphon 20sec > trap 20sec > BARSWAP volley 10sec ( yes i don't use the morphs) > boneyard 10 sec or Master bow Poison injection 20 sec > No idea yet.

Now this update already ruined one of my rotations and will force me to do dragon star arena vet, but apparently there's many classes that have been tottaly ruined and can't properly fit skills now.

My sorc for example, was using Rapid strikes with Advancing yokeda, so i could reach advc max stacks faster. well they murdered my rapid strikes and took out the dmg boost from thaumaturge, so even if this update doesn't go live, i already lost 6% dmg on a spammable NO ONE in the game used before.
All of this because someone didn't like that rapid strikes did more dmg than jabs and instead of having jabs buffed nerfed rapid forever.

You have a bunch of 10s and 20s skills. Cast everything all at once, then on the refresh, only do the 10s skills for Volley and Boneyard. Do not bother with Master's Bow, it sucks imo, only hits 1 target, you are giving up too much cleave.

    Start - 20s 20s 20s 10s 10s - spammable/BlastBones
    Middle - 10s 10s - spammable/BlastBones
    End (restart) - 20s 20s 20s 10s 10s ..etc.

Just takes some muscle memory changes, but ultimately more simple and more time for spammables.

The skill was broken, it never should of used dot and direct damage scaling to begin with. Those damage types are mutually exclusive. This change isn't a Jabs VS Flurry balance decision.

However, it's still broken in numerous ways, but that change was justified.

Read this post I made for more info of what I'm talking about:

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/613891/flurry-and-puncturing-strikes-still-bugged#latest

Also, Rapid Strikes is still one of the best DPS spammables in the game, the best for Stam Sorc, you have no reason to remove that if you don't want to.

Here is a comparison I just did on PTS, active passive is only 5% physical damage. Cost is based on 6 med and 1 heavy. Random gear, doesn't matter. Nothing slotted that increases damage like Fighters guild or Sorc.
    • 9699 dmg = 1725 cost = Rapid Strikes (Reduced cost, 20% execute dmg from Slaughter passive, 15% dmg from Ruffian passive)
    • 9008 dmg = 1917 cost = Wrecking Blow (Empower now only heavy attacks by 80%, 10% dmg with fully charged heavy attack via Follow Up)
    • 7721 dmg = 1917 cost = Lethal Arrow (Poisoned Status effect, Minor Defile, ranged, up to 12% dmg Long Shot and 25% Hawk Eye passives)
    • 7049 dmg = 1917 cost = Crushing Weapon (+3542 dmg every 5 casts and Major Breach)
    • 7474 dmg = 1917 cost = Silver Shards (78% of dmg done in 5m aoe, 3% weapon dmg)
    • 6824 dmg = 1905 cost = Crystal Weapon (30% of dmg done as 2nd hit, -10% cost reduction to next cast, 1k pen, 5% HP return, 2% weapon dmg, minor prophecy)

Rapid Strikes is the cheapest and strongest upfront damage spammable you can use on stam sorc right now. The only close competitor was live CW and Wrecking Blow, but both have been nerfed. You're never going to heavy attack for that empower outside a heavy attack specific build and we know what happened to Crystal Weapon.. results speak for itself.

Hilariously, 2 hits of Crystal Weapon is worse than all of Rapid Strikes at 8871 for CW's 2 hits vs 9699 for Rapid Strikes. That isn't even including the 35% more damage you get from Slaughter and Ruffian.

sorc is largely unchanged unless you count the fact that crystal weapon and bound armaments are not worth running.
i'm back to spammable + frag proc

sustain is easier with the cost reduction of ground dots.

It's a mess for a solo pet sorc though. I have to bar swap to refresh WoE 10s, then later WoE with Volatile Familiar 20s, then later Crit Surge 33s with WoE.

On live it's WoE with Volatile Familiar twice on 10s, then all three skills at 30s. That's far more simple. That's what accessibility means to me.
