Figured i'd create a thread so we can see where people's builds are getting them as of the latest PTS patch. Not too much in the feedback thread and the ones that are there are cheese to prove a point or outdated.

Here's my magsorc so far 89k:

Add a Scribing skill that works like Arcanist beam.
    ---
Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.
    ---
Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.

here is what i ran for those parses
    zowycfin5yu7.png

swap BA for frags on crushing weapon and silver bolt variants, otherwise it's all the same
if i was going to run a mag spammable i'd run whorl on the front with 3pc body to get more light armour for mag sustain, though that's kinda reversing my logic.

I want to run 5pc medium for the extra weapon damage and crit damage and because medium has better sets.
I found sustaining that difficult with a mag spammable so I swapped to crystal weapon in update 33. the update 34 crystal weapon buff was a very pleasant surprise for me

in update 35 i'm finding BA just isn't worth running without the light attack damage bonus and crystal weapon is just a complicated version of crushing weapon, so i'm going back to frags and a stam ranged spammable.

I don't think By Any Means that DK is the best class right now for Either HA or LA weave rotations. but this gap in damage is ok. Both Rotations require some level of thought to pull off. Heavy Attack Builds, While Boring to me. require a lot lower CPM to pull off to their maximum Potential. so should Deserve to be able to produce a Serviceable amount of damage. however Light Weaving Builds should never be pushed out of the top spot,

This inspired me to modify your build a bit to see what I could get without the kilt and with a flex spot for a heal to make it better for 4man/solo content, this is what I came up with, not sure if only the 1 heal is going to give it the survivability it would need though. Also, really interesting about stacking stamina as I would have stacked magicka generally, but it works out pretty cool.

Ok, I tried switching Stam to stack Mag and spell damage and hit it a bit higher, I messed up a bit with some weaving though but thought it was good enough to post:

HA Mag DK 101k (No Kilt, changed talons for Heal)
(Its worth noting that I'm wearing Zaans here but Ilambris performs about the same give or take 100-300 dps for more AOE)

Update: I switched out camo hunter for igneous shield for added survivability and it still pulls 101k, Maybe I hit buttons slightly better to make up for it.

Man... DPS is abysmal... ALWAYS take into account that you would get about 20% less on the dummy on live because of the buffs/debuffs they applied to the dummy.

An 80k parse is 64k, a 100k parse is 80k, all in the name of accessibility?

as long as the content is adjusted to match the dps loss i honestly don't care.

they can knock off 20% of the health of all vet content and it's a wash. i don't understand what the benefit of all this work is, most of the dps loss is from dot ticks. so dots are easier to get good uptimes, but they are less impactful so who cares?

but ok, they want to lower dps. ok, sure. i guess. maybe the gap they wanted to close was the gap between normal and vet content?

Yes, I pointed this out in the initial post that they are inflated compared to live, we all know this, but like Tannus said they are adjusting content anyway. This thread is just for posting builds and parses for the week to give people ideas, nothing more or less. Feel free to speak your mind about this in the official feedback thread though!

I think it's safe to say the empower work isn't done and there will be further adjustments next week.

honestly i'm expecting it to only affect fully charged HA and all sets and skills with empower will be looked at, and probably something will be added to the sorc kit for it in particular

i will be shocked if lightning staff heavy attack sorcs aren't at least viable next week for PvE. pun intended

I can get about 100k on my stamden and 65k on my one-bar stamden. I think if I changed it to a one-bar heavy attack build, it would do around 85k, but since Empower on Oaken isn't working, I can't test it.
I also have a magplar as well, but I absolutely hate the new Jabs so I'll be shelving that character for a while. Shame too, since it was my main.
My Stam Sorc does around 90k, 55k for a one-bar oaken build so I won't be doing one-bar on my stamden anymore. Shame, too, since I got the ring for my stamden. Did 90k before.
