I'm so worried about these ridiculously poorly thought out changes going live and upending a character I've loved for YEARS that I'm not enjoying the current chapter, and I'm not hyped for the upcoming DLC story content!
I know a ton of awesome work goes into designing new content from a storyline & aesthetic perspective. The characters, the quests, the environment - all of this stuff is almost always excellent. I hate that these over-the-top changes are casting a pall on all the goodness. I hope many of these changes get reverted or taken back to the drawing board - for the sake of our characters, the play styles we've become accustomed to, for the sake of accessing endgame content without being too sweaty - but ALSO for the sake of the other teams designing really beautiful zones and quests and whatnot! They deserve for their work to be appreciated, not just forgotten amidst these unnecessary, unasked for, inadequately tested changes!
